Same with Parayko! All 3 are steals.
I mean, everything is in a vacuum. Those contracts coming up now would look different. A better comparison for a steal is looking where similar guys are at now that got similar contracts at the time. Even then, it’s more of a which contracts worked out, which didn’t.
That said, thankful as hell we have them and don’t have to renegotiate them right now.
If they were free agents now, I’m guessing Thomas would get like $10m/yr and Kyrou probably like $9.5m/yr, so we’re definitely in good shape!
Insane that there are players making 50% more money than Thomas. It is an insane steal. It will be used to help sign Broberg and Holloway though
