Gotta deal with this shit for 5 more days (maybe longer if we lose).

  1. I think a lot of it is actually Caleb haters and not necessarily Commie fans.

Living in DC, they’re mostly just happy to be rid of Dan Snyder and have hope again. But yeah, online, they bought into the media manufactured Williams vs Daniels debate wayyyyy more than bears fans did.

  2. I think that both teams would make the same pick given the opportunity: Bears would pick CW over Daniels and Washington would pick Daniels over CW.

It feels similar to RG3 and Luck’s rookie year. Hopefully both guys keep balling out! Young, good QB play is good for the sport.

  3. Jayden speedrunning RG3 career. He’s one bad fumble recovery injury away from completing the prophecy.

  4. Jayden is having a worst season then Justin Fields. Hes gonna be mid tier at best. Frankly Caleb with the decent coaching jayden has had would be light years ahead.

  5. I care about 2 QBs status in the league: Bears QB doing well, Packers QB doing poorly.

  6. To be honest I liked Drake Maye the most coming out and I stand by that. Very happy with Caleb though.

  7. It’s bad on twitter right now between both fan bases, this weekend is going to get even more toxic.

  8. The fact that Caleb has missed 0 games, was the most sacked, had incompetent coaches in year 1, still has an incompetent GM, and is showing growth, I like our QB.

  9. Commanders fan coming in peace. I wasn’t on the Reddit boards during last seasons game, I was a heavy frequenter on bleacher report so I’m not sure if the same was done on this platform. BUT there was a group of id says 5-6 bears fans on bleacher report, for two weeks, that came into the commanders community talking all kinds of smack about how badly the bears were going to beat the commanders and how much better Caleb was than Jayden. Every day for two weeks they did this. That is where my disdain came from. However I do agree with a poster on the thread saying that good young QBs are good for the league and I hope they both have a good long career. Them both being competitive is a good thing.

  10. As a Commanders fan, I really love this. Especially the poo squirts. I feel like the Chicago fan base is far more back and forth about their qb though. It happens with all fan bases in this situation, and there’s always fans who are completely illogical and the worst armchair qbs.

I’ll check back in on Monday to see how things are going.

  11. From my experience as a Bears fan in the DMV, most of the Commanders fans I know do realize that Jayden would have also had a horrible rookie season last year with that horrible line and coaching staff.

  12. Commanders fans could say that Caleb Williams is literally a gay retard and I would not know or care

  13. Jayden Daniels ha, dude is just RG3 part 2. Let’s not forget that his Hail Mary was just the defense not playing defense 😂 it’s not like he pulled a drive out of his ass to score some points. 1000000000% if Stevenson is locked in, they don’t win

  14. Both QBs are going to be greats barring injury and will win many games in making their teams competitive. Probably the best QB class ever as Maye, Nix, and Pennix look to be getting comfortable in their 2nd year and systems.

  15. Honestly if we would have gotten Jayden or Patrick, no guarantee they play the same. I’m always skeptical that it’s something about how the Bears raise their QBs. We have decades of examples to show no elite QBs. It can’t always be the player every time. You have that many “it didn’t work out” situations, makes me think it’s us not them

  16. How does drafting Jayden make our offense better last year?

How does drafting Jayden keep Tyrique Stevenson from being a fucking donut?

  17. I do think we have to acknowledge that if there was a redraft of the 2024 nfl draft rn, Daniel’s should be listed at pick 1 based upon what he was able to accomplish as a rookie. Both Daniel’s and Maye have the upside of top 10 quarterbacks if they reach their full potential but lack the truly elite intangibles to push them into the top 5. Caleb has the potential to be a top 3 quarterback if he is able to reach his ceiling. Id still take Caleb at pick 1, and so would the majority of NFL teams.

  18. Eh this sub kinda has an obsession with talking about them too. It makes sense this week but it does get a bit too much sometimes.
