  1. That’s an old ass man injury. Take the over on Luka’s numbers the whole first month of the season, easy money

  2. What? Damn. Had no idea. Best case is he probably makes it one more season after this, he’s been showing his age more and more in terms of his decreasing durability and motor.

No wonder the Lakers want to build around Luka with cap space, he for sure is the guy now if there was any doubt.

  3. This is definitely his last year in LA boys. No way we let him take up all that cap next to Luka. We need to find a new running mate.

  4. Damn sciatica ain’t no joke. He might deal with this for the rest of his career/life

  5. I knew it was too good to be true that he was sidelined this long for no reason

  6. Our depth is already shit. Missing our 2nd best player to start the season is going to be rough :/

  7. This is the value of Rui people weren’t talking about. Forget whether he’s in our normal starting lineup. He’s the guy on this team who steps in for LeBron. And given LeBron’s age, I expect that to quite a few games.

  8. Well this is gonna be an interesting season at least. Not to be a doomer, but IIRC Lakers Steve Nash also had sciatica.

The light at the end of the tunnel here is that Bron’s on an expiring contract

  9. This honestly doesn’t really worry me. I still feel like we can win a bunch of games without lebron. Luka will be luka and AR always seems to elevate his game when some of our top guys are out
