Throwback to these Jessie Bates III pick sixes in the red helmet πŸ’ͺ #nfl

Falcons coming after Carr. Picked up. Picked off. Jesse Bates. He’s got a shot. Baits to midfield. To the 40, to the 30, to the 20. No question. Pick six. No flags. And just watch him read Derek Carr’s eyes. The plays developing in front. I mean, he is gone like a shot. You’ve got a lot of crossing routes in the middle of the field. And you wonder if if Derek Carr just lost Jesse Bates in all that traffic, but you saw that as soon as that football was snapped, he was on a beine. He had read that. He was jumping that route. That’s great preparation during the course of the week to know what New Orleans likes in the red zone. 92 yds later, Bates is in the end zone. Sixth year man out of Wake Forest. Had five excellent seasons in Cincinnati and then signed a four-year deal with these Falcons. There’s Block intercepted, picked off by Jesse Bates, and Bates will take it all the way for a Falcons touchdown. So, we’re going to go right here. Is this man-to-man coverage, right? But look what happens when they get over here. You kick out and then you come here. So, they showed man at the snap. They adjusted on the backside. He doesn’t see Jesse Bates there and he jumps it for the pick

  1. An encouraging thing so far this season has been not hearing Bates’ name much. This is because others are stepping up. Bates has carried the team for a long time. They can carry him for a while now. πŸ‘πŸΏ
