number five. And the Kraken are off and running. A perfect zone entry here. You look at Schwarz
goes through. He’s taking his time. He gots his head up the whole way. Larson over to Dun stepping
through and just an excellent shot up and high above the blocker side. I love the way that Tolvin
gets himself out in front screening do stall but a perfect entry a good delay. You find the open
player Dunn as a defenseman jumping through and you see Marchman attempting to get to it. He’s
coming off two 20 goal seasons in a row. Carlson a shot. Great stop by Decour. Marchman out of the
corner giveaway. Quick little twoon-one between Anaheim Ducks. Take the puck from Jamie Alexiak,
but right in the top by Luck. Joey challenging, getting out to the top of the crease. Rebound
ends up going into the now turning with it. McTavish defensively marked by Baneers. Lome
takes over. He’ll move it. Dunn reads the plate, kicks it out, but he gives it away to Marchman
in front. They score right on the doorstep. It’s the young man making his NHL debut tonight,
Beckett Senica with his first goal in the National Hockey League. Good pressure from the Ducks on
the for check. End up giving that puck away. And love where Becket Senica goes right back
to the net front, goes to the post. It puts his stick down. Excellent pass there from McTav.
There’s nothing Joey can do on that play. Finds himself right at that back post. You see the
deflection up into the upper part of the net. Zelwiger gloved down by Senica. He’ll play it
deep. Here’s McTavish. Given a shove ridden off it by Ryan Lingren. A wrap chance denied by
the court twice in tight. Cutter Goceier had two bids. McTavish out in front. Lingren out of the
corner. Take a look at this here. There’s the one hand play from McTavish sending it around.
You see the wrap chance and Joey Court having to make a couple of saves in tight getting over to
his left post. staying strong and Kraken getting doing a good job as well clearing out like to

Brandon Montour. Good job by Montour. Monty on the march now. He shakes free of Terry. Goes to the
corner. Has Marchman who scores. Mason Marchman has his first goal as a Seattle bracket set up
beautifully by Brandon Montour. Legs going here on this play. An excellent stick taking that puck
away from Troy Terry. Good on the for check. Head up, eyes through right onto the tape of Marchment.
Great job following up the play. A nice effort here as Montour. You see the quick head check,
shoulder check. Marchment going right to that back post. It’s an excellent pass and a great finish
there from March to be able to get that first one in a cracking sweater in the garden spot through
center. Josh Mahur. Now Jared McCanners with a shot stopped and hung on to by Dostall. Get a nice
opportunity here as Mant finds Baneer’s head up looking for that shot just a little bit too right
into the middle of the Chester. Maybe sneak that one underneath the arm trying to go through.
I like the way that Everly looks around, gets her off the backside of Dstall. See if that puck
does sneak through it and the young defenseman moves it out to center ice. Mahura overs skated
at Kangelo. A shift. Paling a shot kicked out by Decour. Paling again. Denied by Dor in his first
game along the boards. Senica tries a pop pass that’s denied. He gets it back. He rolls around.
Korn kicked out with a purpose by Decouring for the breakaway. Perfect timing here. Excellent save
from Joey as Alex. The big breaks out of the box. Alexiaak has a man right down. Lenny Wilkins
Wayne. Lingren stopped by no stall. Box Schwarz with the pass going up and watch Ryan Lingren
go right through the middle. A little patience trying to slide that one through the five hole. I
like the move here in tight. Don’t have a ton of time with the back pressure as well. Dstall just
able to keep this out and see it on that left pad. Goes by Krider back out. McCracken right
on it. They move it quickly up the ice. Cross corner dump in Everly. Beneers
in front. They score. That’s hockey, baby. Jared McCann right on
the spot. Three to one Seattle. job for the Kraken in the neutral zone. You see
Alexiak take the puck across, cutting across, but watch Everly throw it into a corner. He can’t make
a direct pass over to Matty Baneers. He throws it into the corner. It bounces off perfectly. Great
one-touch from Mattie over to Macan who chips that one up over the shoulder, but the presence from
Everly at the blue line knowing he can’t make a direct pass. puts it into an area where Matty
can get to it. Creates a short ice twoonone and Dolvin out to center ice. Move it wide for Jaden
Schwarz. Tolvin in tight shut down by Dostil going to score from there, but you never know. The puck
is here. You might get a rebound out in front. It might bounce its way in. He’s going through the
middle going right to the top of the paint and Murray gets that shot. Oh, great job with that. We
will showcase that every home game. Larson with a shot. Tipped on. What a job by Dost. It’s loose in
front. He does a snow angel. He’s got it. Recovery save starts by winning the faceoff up top. You get
a tip. Everly gets an opportunity. Trouba is there as well. You see the backhand from McCann. Do
falling back. There’s the first save. Puck batted right there. Everly does get a piece trying to go
up and over it. You see the glove. McTavish now over the line. He’ll look around. He’s hounded by
Marchman who has the puck. He has been outstanding tonight. Marchman in front. Winton stopped the
rebound forked wide. This backhand feed from Marchman. Got Winterton going through. Tries to
sneak that backand five hole. And that pass is a incredibly tough one. You see it go right
through the legs of Hellison on the backand with speed and trying to follow. Schwarz with
5 seconds on the clock takes a glance upstairs. That should do it. That is Kraken hockey, baby.
That is win number one for Lane Lambert. And the Kraken, for the first time in their young
history, win an opener on their home ice.
