Vegas Golden Knights at San Jose Sharks | FULL Overtime Highlights – October 9, 2025

Wenberg celebrating Lety against Marner Eel and Theodore and away we go with threeon-ree overtime. Here it comes Mitch Mner. Possession key in overtime. Jack Eel trying to split the D. Good read there by former Cup winner Nick Ley. won a cup with Chicago and now the Sharks have possession and Mlin Celbrini gets by Eel can’t attack on Theodore. Now they regroup Smith for Celibbriny and again turned away by Theodore and Smith and his skates kept in by the Sharks. Clberg with it for a second. He had Sel bringing behind the defend. He just couldn’t get it to him. And now I go and Theodore. Twoon one to Theodore for the win. And a save by Nadalovic. And now Martner back to get it. What a chance there on a twoon-one break. And now celebrating [Applause] [Music] net for Riley Smith and he scores. What a weird finish. And Smith wins it for the Golden Knights. And the Sharks are patting Nulkovic on the head as he’s going back to the dressing room with such disappointment. He comes out to play the puck and just doesn’t do a good job of it. It ends up a bounce that goes right onto the stick of Riley Smith who’s all alone in the offensive zone to finish this off. And there you can see almost hesitates and stops. He has to just once you make that choice as a goalender, you got to come all the way. That little hesitation allowed Theodore to step up and make this play. [Applause] And it’s in the back of the net. What a finish. A crazy finish. It looked like you actually had a seat to believe it quite honestly. You can’t even describe it. And the Sharks had an opportunity to win this game in two unlucky breaks. They lose it in overtime. [Music]

  1. Sharks literally chomped defeat from their jaws of victory. So close to snapping the losing streak against Vegas but ended up painfully extending it

Also what the hell was Nedeljkovic doing at the end of OT. Literally founded the worst time to have a lowlight when you’ve been playing well for almost the whole game….

  2. Why are yall tweaking, ref was in the way of Ned so he stopped, he didn’t play crap. That’s not an excuse for losing, just a reason to stop criticizing Ned, the whole team played crap in the first period and were on their heels the whole time so stop blaming the goalie.

  3. If Alex Nedeljkovic is not waived tomorrow after this Patrik Stefanesk choke that he pulled off, the message sent by the Sharks will be officially clear: Gavin McKenna all the way.
