Cincinnati Reds Need To Sign Kyle Schwarber

For me, I think you have to go all out and you have to get a D8. And the name that just screams to me is Kyle Schwarber. And I think a lot of people are going to poo poo that idea. A the Reds will never sign Kyle Schwarber. I don’t know. I saw the projections were maybe $110 million. It’s just how many times are you going to get an opportunity to go out and get maybe the best hitter on the market that actually probably has some interest in coming to Cincinnati that just absolutely fits what you’re looking for that because he’s a little bit older because he’s 32. His price tag is not going to be as exorbitant. Just never see an opportunity that would be better for the Reds to go out and make the bold move, suck it up a little bit, spend a little bit more money. How many teams in baseball could go out and sign one player for $100 million and it completely flips the entire narrative with the fan base?

  1. No I don't know what you're on but it must be pretty good stuff reds are not signing someone that's ancient plus a DH for 110 million no way you haven't been a reds fan very long

  2. ….. it's a good sell. It's a good sell. I've always said, though… Reds front office is allergic to winning expectations. I'll believe this when I see it.
