I feel bad. He walked off the field looking like he was about to get shot. Almost looks like fear in his eyes in this clip

It was the worse thing he could have done. Dart’s on fire, looks like he was concussed. Wilson steps in and throws it at the ground. Guy was done 5 years ago, and Tomlin milked the last juice from the husk. If Wilson had any self awareness, he’d retire.
Sometimes it’s difficult to accept.
There’s a part of me that does feel for russy. Had a great career, but it’s hard to watch now. He’s a good guy too, a little corny, but a decent guy. But he’s made a lot of money. I don’t feel that bad.
Why retire if teams keep offering contracts?
The NYG fans are being jerks here, but I just want to point out that both Fields and Wilson looked better as Steelers than they did right before they arrived and after they left. Rudolph also looked way better here than he did in Tennessee.
Just saying, since I know the common wisdom here seems to be that the Steelers ruin QBs. I think Pickett just wasn’t good enough, dudes. He went to Philly and they couldn’t save him, either. The Browns kept Flacco, Gabriel, and Sanders over him, too…
Me all last season
Despite the boos he still goes home to ciara and his mansion and makes a game check more than most people’s annual salary.
Unpopular opinion but Russ deserves better than what has happened these past few years. Denver was a train wreck before Payton decided he had a personal vendetta against Russ. Then he starts off hot here, only for the conclusion of the season to be an unmitigated disaster, not all his doing, and then he hits the Giants who are run with so much ineptitude that it’s laughable. He just hasn’t had systems friendly to his style of QB play and that shit matters big time, unfortunately.
There was a decently large portion of our fanbase that wanted him back
I thought it couldn’t get any worse after that Broncos debacle, sheesh.
I felt bad for him when I saw this live. And then I remembered the only reason he hasn’t retired yet is simply to get a bag. He knows he doesn’t have it anymore. If he were embarrassed he would’ve retired.
He will leave the stadium after playing 3 snaps and drive home to a $20 million mansion in a rolls Royce. Sounds like a pretty good gig. I’d take the boos of 70,000 peasants for that.
Not everyone can be elite in their elder years like Aaron Charles Rodgers
He’s too stubborn for his own good. He’s been done for a few years now, but he’s so convinced that he can still go. Russ, man, please hang it up. Every year, he ruins his legacy more and more.

Giants fans are actually ungrateful, this guy had one actually bad game after balling out for over 400 the week before and they boo him off the field
cmon man he dont deserve that russ is corny and cringe but hes never done anything wrong hes one of the best QBs of the last 20 years he deserves more respect then this.

In futbol there’s a saying “leave the futbol before the futbol leaves you” and man does it ring true in every other sport, he should’ve called it quits after Broncos he would’ve probably left with his head held high and respect .
