Blackhawks’ Connor Bedard Wires One-Timer For First Goal Of Season
Here’s Bedard. He’ll bang it back at the net. Oh, big check delivered behind the net. Zedorov and this one. Bernard rips it and scores. Bernard got free at the top of the circle and he rifles it by Corposello. Bruins won, Blackhawks won. Yeah, it looked like the Bruins are in good shape. They win a puck battle right down by the Zamboni doors. Puck ends up behind the net and Zidorov who had a strong game last night. I don’t know if it was indecision or just was going to pass it and didn’t think he had a play and all of a sudden the puck turns over. Makes a big hit right there. But now there’s a seam pass available. Bruins trying to take away the middle of the ice. Bard went right through the top of the paint. Now he gets lost in coverage. Now you see him, now you don’t. He gets in a blind spot. He’s ready. He’s ready for the one-time. And there’s [Music]
Watch as Chicago Blackhawks’ Connor Bedard scores his first goal of the season with a one-timer against the Bruins.

What a snipe
lethal shot
You can tell he put in the off season work. The kid looks great.
Not overhyped or overrated.
that was a rocket
this is a crazy goal hands down
Like the Goldberg streak, that's one. One of 60 goals this season while Hawks fans chant "BE DARD" and he cuts promos on opposing goalies telling them, "You're Next!!" 😁
He was floating when the Bruins scored. Zero on the night so far.
The look on the faces of them extremely big Defense men makes me think Connor better keep his head up & his eyes wide open?
IF and that's a BIG if the team is much better then the last two years, he should have a good year point wise. Maybe not a lot of goals but a good amount of assist. People forget how YOUNG he is, he really is just a kid. I think it has to more with people having great expectations for a kid then being realistic. I bet EVERY team in the league would want him on their team.
Every single day over the summer I saw brand new clips of Bedard in the lab working hard, while I was watching other players on their vacation in the sun. The kid wants it and he's putting in the work. It's too early to really tell but from what I've seen so far he's progressed for sure and even looks bigger/put on much needed weight.
It’s dope to see he put his head down all summer and got to work. He was noticeably different against FLA in the season opener, hoping he has a great season wouldn’t be mad if he made a push for the Olympic team (for experience sake)
