Weird vibes with Avila's injury over the last few weeks. In the last couple days it even seems like McVay and LaFleur are hedging on him as starter. I know he took a step back last year but I figured that was due to injury and the offseason shuffling with Jackson. Hard to believe it'd be at this point after the rookie year he had.

Dedich has been solid for us. I’m not too concerned
If the backup is balling let the backup ball and don’t rush Avila back.
I will say it, if Avila cannot stay healthy this year I would not be surprised if he is not given an extension.
I think bringing Jonah Jackson back for the Miami game has scarred McVay on changing the line at all. It seems he values continuity a lot more now
