I saw a post earlier declaring the Jets the first team in NFL history to open the season 0-5 and 0 turnovers.
I was very confused, vividly remembering this blocked field goal attempt returned for a touchdown. (Absolutely iconic celebration from Aaron Glenn — I couldn't even be mad as it was happening when they showed him.)
That's when I researched and discovered blocked field goal simply do not count as turnovers.
This is an injustice.
As much as I hate for the one to be against my team, you all deserve your turnover. This is not how you all should be making history. I'm sorry.
