Did he even play in either of the two games so far? Either way, looks like he was the Vlasic insurance. Now that Vlasic is back, he goes where he belongs. Hopefully, he can gain confidence back and correct his mistakes and show he belongs in the NHL, not the AHL.
This is the correct move for his growth.

If you look at some of the new wave of promising Dmen in the league, they took like 4 years post draft to ripen: Lacombe, Harley were both 2019 picks and took until 2024 to make real noise in the show. KK, Rinzel, and Levshunov are all still young
