Another year, another #newyorkyankees postseason disappointment | THE HERD #mlb #aaronjudge

A team from Canada has eliminated your New York Yankees and it was in fairly dominating fashion. Let’s I’ll be a therapist for the New York Yankees. Let’s have a harsh talk. Let’s all sit down, take a deep breath, and admit the Yankees just aren’t that good. They’re good. They’re not that good. Aaron Judge is great. Garrett Cole and Max Freed, if they’re healthy, what a one-two punch. But they just got out hit by Toronto. 50 hits to 34. They strike out less. They get more hits, more contact hitters. The Yankees are completely beholdened to home runs. The Yankees feel like an unbalanced diet. Too much protein.

  1. The Yankees need a new hitting coach… They don't seem to know what pitch is coming, they take pitches they should swing at, and swing at pitches they should take. Seems to have been this way for years.

  2. Loosing Juan Soto hurt! However its there other peaces that need to step up. They have gotton rid of some good players and there replacements aint great

  3. I lived in Pittsburgh, Pa, during the Pirates/Yankees World Series, the only one in my 6th grade class that rooted for the Yankees. It was a tough one to lose, even tougher walking out on the playground at recess.

Small town PA; guys weren't afraid to express their thoughts or control their emotions.

  4. I love how before the playoffs started everyone was passing on the jays because they didn’t hit home runs, but now it’s the Yankees lost because they can only hit home runs. I think both are necessary, but timely hitting is the key
