  1. Only fitting that it would happen the first game of the season. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

  2. Norris has only played 60+ games once in his career, looking like a strong likelihood he wont hit it again. Cozens trade looking better and better!

  3. I’m not superstitious at all and I firmly believe this organization has been cursed by a shaman

  4. Adams got his talking point for whenever he does his first presser after doing nothing to address the poo shit roster.

“Ya we weren’t anticipating missing Norris and Kesselring for the first two months of the season, it was unfortunate. We believe in the guys in the room. Jack Quinn will be the first to admit he needs to be better. I said it before I won’t sacrifice long term success for immediate help”

  5. I know his one shoulder is held together with flex seal and duct tape, but outside of that not too sure of his injury history… from looking at him right after the faceoff on the bench it looked like he was holding his left hip.

  6. I don’t want to overstate things, but I think Kevyn and Terry are not doing great! If I had billions of dollars, I would probably pay somebody to fix it. But that’s probably naive of me to think that you could solve the problem with, you know, billions of dollars.

    Go Sabres!

  7. Look, I don’t blame Norris in any way, shape or form. He’s a great player, he just can’t stay healthy. I’ve followed his career for a while, I was happy enough that we traded for him, but I knew this would be an issue.

This is 100% on our front office. You make a trade to free up 7 mil in cap space by dumping Cozens… all to bring in a guy who makes more but isn’t ever healthy? Did Adams not know about the injury history or something? It makes no sense… but neither does betting on Sammy to bounce back and be worth the money he’s being paid instead of going with the most obvious “buy him out dirt cheap while you still can” terms this offseason. The answer is in the room. I have no doubt that this team will go on some runs this year based on top end talent alone. There will be fun moments. This team is nowhere close to a playoff team. It’s a joke. We looked pathetic last night, not strong on pucks. The “more aggressive” play style seemed like undersized 20 year olds bouncing off of hits that they weren’t strong enough to deliver. I’m not surprised. Trade Tuch to save him from this shitshow, wait for Ras and Tage to inevitably demand out of this shitshow, start all over.

All I know is that I can only dream about one day having the same type of job security that Kevyn Adams has. Yes-man your way to the top, keep kissing ass, it’s the true American dream.

  8. If Norris has a long term injury that better be the nail in the coffin for Adam’s. You gambled on his health and you lost and that’s more than one to many times now.

  9. Meanwhile quality GM/organizations would already be working the phones to try and find a solution. Instead GMKA is just shrugging his dumb shoulders

  10. Honestly the level of incompetence coming from this organization for over a decade is pretty impressive all things considered

  11. There is a reason they were willing to trade this guy for Cozens. Trade for an injury prone player you cant be surprised when he gets injured. Doesnt matter how much better he is when he isnt on the ice ever.

  12. And here I was getting shit on for saying that trade was terrible the second it was announced.

They literally traded a younger player (who still had some value in the league) who had a smaller cap hit/contract and a 2nd round pick for a guy who never plays (and had little value in the league due to that) that has a bigger cap hit/contract and a 7th/8th throwaway defensemen.

  13. “I would have bet a lot of money, probably all of my money, that he wasn’t going to play 82 games”.

    – Zucker (probably)
