I really appreciate Duncan being open to talk about this.
This is a hard conversation to have out loud. Ppl are just uncomfortable and there is a lot that feels like they can’t care to understand unless they experience it directly.
Mental health is crucial. I’ve watched ppl do the things they “love,” when really it just be ban-aids or temporary chases to numb themselves from what is the core issue.
It’s hard to look in the mirror and admit something is wrong with you.

Schizophrenia is scary as hell

That’s rough man 😔 the part about having to repeat the same medical history and care requests to every doctor/nurse/ER hits close. So frustrating and disheartening.
Duncan has always been a class act and it’s huge for him to be open to everyone about this
Condolences to him and his family
Adds another wrinkle to Kevin Love being a huge asset last season, often being Duncan’s bus buddy for lack of a better term and talking with him about Mental Health a ton. Feel bad for Duncan man, having to deal with off court struggles like this, even getting called by your brother right before games and then fans just viciously attacking your performances night in and night out has to be brutal on the psyche. I’m gonna personally miss Duncan on this team a lot, will feel weird not having one of him Max Gabe or Caleb nowadays even if all their time on the team wasn’t necessarily long
