Happy centennial. That was the dress rehearsal. I just know it’s not a good one when you’re when you’re booed off your home ice in the second period. That game angered a lot of people. I think Redwing fans have a right to be angry because it was opening night. It just is a moment in time you want to feel good about yourself. The Wings didn’t compete. And what I’m not going to accept is this. Well, you wanted the kids. Here they are. No, no, no. Not in year seven. Not in year seven. You can bring the kids up, but Pelica can’t lead the team in ice time. That’s a bad look. That means you got a bad team. and the goalie you acquired. Everyone said, “Hey, he’s an upgrade.” Well, how much? We’re all awaiting John Gibson getting hurt. That’s all he does. Gives up five goals on 13 shots. What? Are you kidding me? People booed that team off the ice. I think that’s totally appropriate. Hockey is so different is that it’s such an expensive sport to watch. The people that go to these games are hand over fist spending money. This is not some podunk hockey city where you can get in the lower bowl for 60 beans. It’s expensive. These people have a right to be pissed. It didn’t look like they did anything in training camp. Well, this was the best that you had to offer. That game bugged me from beginning to end. It looked like the defense wasn’t giving John Gibson any support. Gibson had a poor start, but the amount of oddman rushes they were allowing. Their offense actually didn’t look terrible, but man, this defense is still very, very far away. Fans were booing them in the second period of your home opener of your Centennials. Talk about a bad look that it doesn’t get much worse than that. What was your breaking point, Kenny? It was the late fourth goal. I was like, “You know what? I’m done. We’re leaving. It’s over.”

You guys are absolutely right. Last year we had no defense, this year to know ones surprise, the same. Gibson? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 It's like eating a warmed over omelette. Yuck. They accomplished NOTHING in training camp. Boooooooo!!!!!
