MLB Team Loses it After Bad Call Ends Season

This team got screwed by a bad call and almost attacked the umpires for it. In game three of the NL Wildcard Series, the Cubs were ahead of the Padres’s 3 to1 in the ninth inning. Needing two runs to stay alive, Xander Bogarts came to the plate and started battling, taking a 3-1 pitch that he thought was outside, but called for strike two. Now with the full count, Bogarts took a low fast ball that was called strike three. Xander was obviously upset, and even Padres’s manager, Mike Schill, came out to argue. 1. That call was a home field advantage it was low an outside u can see it that umpire should be send to single A League the game was on the line he screwed up big time

  2. People kind of blow this whole thing out of proportion because this call is absolutely ridiculous but if Boegarts gets walked there’s still not a guarantee the Padres win that game chasing 2 in the 9th they would probably still lose

  3. Im a die hard Padres fan. That call was BS. But we didn't lose the game on that. We have no slug and went something like 2/20 with RISP. We left so many base runners in scoring position we had absolutely no business winning that series vs the Cubs and had we managed to eek out the win we would most certainly gotten destroyed regardless. We aren't built to win clutch games. We need power and slug. Not ground outs or easy pop fly ez out batters.

  4. Yeah Padres are full of losers but MLB has to do something about the bad calls behind the plate. It's not only fair for the players but it is for the integrity of the game.

  5. Why baseball is great. It still shows fan passion and coach too.
Computer strike zone calls will have us lose the passion. 50 year Dodgers fan. Loved Tommy Lasorda running out to argue a call.

  6. I don’t understand why they physically touching the umps because if they could’ve hit the ball they wouldn’t have needed that call, but it’s okay because us brewers are owning the cubs
