  1. Luka (26), AR (27), DA (27), Rui (27), Vando (26), Jake (24), Hayes (25), Smart (31)….that's a young team (- LeBron, Kleber) and all of them have something to prove this season…I hope they will stay healthy.

  2. Man, you guys are really dense and desperate for stories. Bron reported he has a pain in his arse. Not a glute strain or a back issue. He's telling you nothing is wrong without saying nothing is wrong. He is resting, as he should. He is allowing Luka and JJ the space to build what they want. He is elevating the trade value of the guys getting his 30 minutes. It will give him time to study how to help this team. It's all good. And how lame are you about rotations? The guy who fills in for Bron is Rui (and in no way does Rui start witb Bron and Luka).

  3. LeBron's faking it. He just can't accept that he is not the Face of the Lakers anymore and the Lakers management did not provide him an extension. That's what narcissist do.

  4. I’m glad this happened. All this idiots who think Austin reaves can be 2nd best on a championship team (btw I love reaves but still) are gonna realize how much Bron is needed for this team.

  5. I wonder how long it will take this show to realize these three things:

    1) Bronny will never be an NBA caliber player.
    2) The Lakers organization do not want LeBron back next year.
    3) LaRavia is not as good as they think he is.

  6. Lebron's ego is hurting the Lakers more than his health and age. Lebron has always been a warrior and freak on the court. I believe he got his feelings hurt when he didn't get an extension and that the Lakers is OFFICIALLY and without question Luka's team starting this season (last year it was 50-50).

  7. What about rookie Adou Thiero? Why isn’t he listed on the roster here or even mentioned as an option? I understand he’s not expected for the season opener, but shouldn’t he be in the conversation for maybe two weeks in? Last I heard, he’s ramping up now—just not doing contact drills yet.

  8. Man! Lakers can't catch a break. There's no replacing LeBron. All the team can do is mitigate this huge loss on the court. Too bad Finney Smith would have been my choice (two way offense-defense, versatile, know his role and guys will with the team, shoots fairly well from 3, plays well with Luka) but the Lakers lost him. I sure hope Vando improved his 3 point shot while Rui puts in more focus on defense. Otherwise this may end up a short season.

  9. This roster doesn’t look good with or without LeBron. I think the best thing would be trading LeBron. Any team who’s interested in him would have to trade a few players to match salaries. Which would benefit the lakers as they gain more depth. It’ll most likely be role players as I highly doubt lakers can get true value for an aging LeBron who’s a free agent next season (might retire)

  10. Well, given that James squeezed every penny he could in his deal and didn't take less to enable the team to have cap room to get a decent free agent during the season, it's basically just internal options. They could consider Simmons as a 3 or 4 who could play defense, rebound, and pass the ball, provided he is healthy and willing to take the minimum. But they basically will end up burning a year of doncic's prime before they can truly begin a roster build around him. That is when the contracts for James, hachimura, vincent, Reeves, ayton, and Hayes will be off the books. Vanderbilt and smart could also opt out. It basically resets their cap. Ideally, Walter will replace pelinka and find someone who can roster build correctly without mortgaging the team's future for B-tier players. if he lets the pelinka/buss combo continue to run things, the outcome will remain the same.
