It cannot be overstated what an unbelievable game that was.. there were like 6 different times in extras when a team had runners in scoring position with less than two outs and the pitchers held. Pitched their dicks off to get out of it. Flaherty, Castillo, Gilbert, Bazardo, Melton, Vest all showing up. That’s before you even talk about the starters.
I thought the Phillies had retired me for this postseason, but I saw game 5 in extras and had to turn it on. I am unfortunately back.
I am going to have nightmares about the beautiful smile on Kerry Carpenter for years. I was a little unaware how bad that ma is.
