Hockey stat card from tonight’s game

  1. Helleson checks out. Thought Leo was really good through 2. I’m guessing that 6-8 minute spurt in the middle of the 3rd really crushed everyone on here.

  2. Yea that bottom pairing might be a problem.. you love to see Gudas at the top after his struggles last season tho. #FreeLuneau

  3. Look at Elite 1LW Ross Johnston way up there 😆

Sennecke’s team defense will improve with more familiarity as he figures out where he needs be. Saw him with the tablet many times on the bench

Helleson and Minty look bad in preseason and they carried it to tonight’s game. Helleson extremely brutal in both the eye test and metrics backs it up

Oof… Leo hanging out down there with those 2

When Cutter got reunited with Leo towards the end of the 3rd, they looks so in sync. Too little too late

  4. I keep getting downvoted for but I don’t care – Helleson is not an NHL caliber player and I don’t get why people act like he is. This just further proves my point.

  5. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. This is why just because someone presents information in a nice way, it doesnt mean it is by any stretch definitive.

No one who actually watched that game last night thinks that our worst forward was Leo carlsson.

And before anyone tries to make claims I’m some advanced stats hater, I’m not. Im a subscriber to multiple advanced stats pages, and even monetarily support some. I however am indeed a hater of “here card. Card no context. Team bad.” Or vice versa. These models pull a data dump and then get regurgitated into graphs. Thats not hockey.
