Edit to add further thoughts: If your gonna open a winger spot in the top 6 by blending the lines up,why not use that to give perreault or berard playing time? If your not gonna use a young player,why not stick with your current lines and just plug parsinnen straight in? This is the worst of both worlds in my eyes. Maybe they dont want to rush travel+same day game onto whoever it is theyd call up but thats probably cope from me.
Second line Sheary and they want us to believe they’ll be contenders this year

They don’t have the cap space to call up any of the kids.
Perfect spot to call up Gabe and give him a taste IMO.
Is it me or did the Rangers get rid of all their grit players?? Where is the heart of this team?? Just saying but we had Jimmy Vesey willing to play on the 4th line for a million bucks and he is more talented than all bottom 6 forwards. If we had Vesey, carrick, Rempe on the 4th line this team would be more exciting to watch. And if we had Vesey on the 4th that would mean we could move edstrom up to the 3rd line and get rid of one the other mediocre players. Drury has done such a horrible job with centers that we have to watch Laba call himself an NHLer.
I just want Sheary to put up a 3-4 point game so the sub will descend into chaos

Anyone that thinks drury is a good Gm look at this lines they basically replaced Kreider with Conor sheary
Unfortunately Mika HAS to play center at this point. I can’t believe anyone doesn’t realize this and still wants him on millers line. With no cap space he’s the best option to make this lineup deep enough to put out there.
The top six is a war crime.

Honestly with the way Mika has been looking recently I’m curious to see how he looks with Bread and Laf. They might seriously cook.

Thats actually really interesting. I figured they would slot in Parssinen for vinny, but wasnt aware they wouldn’t call up Berard or the others due to cap space.
Would have definitely liked to have seen Berard called up though.

The only guy I really dont like playing for us is Raddysh I don’t think he brings anything to the table

And people think this team will be a playoff team when 7/12 forwards are 4th line players. And the top line center is 3rd line depth at best. Our window is officially closed
I feel like we should be over Panarin and Zibanejad at this point, but due to their salaries, are stuck. The window to win The Cup with them is closed and we need to move on. Laffy has been a bust in terms of a #1 overall pick. We need a couple new/fresh scorers on this team. As of now, we are not even sniffing The Cup come April
These lines are fine for a few games, but if Trocheck is truly going to be out multiple weeks, then we need to recall Berard and waive Parsinnen.
