    Also probably explains Pat’s increased rushing yards as much as anything. Mahomes can scramble because no one is open, not because he’s running for his life.

  9. Somehow I think since Jawaan is doing so well this year, he’ll get a contract extension next year and turn into a flag machine again with no way to get rid of him 😬

  10. Even if this season ends before February, it will be a great season in the Mahomes era story if Simmons ends up being great. He’s got potential leadership qualities down the line too beyond just being a terrific player.

    Also this graphic is a good reminder to myself and others that Jawaan Taylor is a very good tackle, even with the penalties. Turns out Andy Reid knows more than us and “it’s worth it” essentially.

  16. Chiefs fans wrong on Jawaan, always have been. They seemingly would rather have Mahomes get drilled than have some 5-yard penalties.
