I developed some health issues this year which caused me to spend a lot of time alone at home. Hanging out and watching da cubbies with you guys made that feel a lot less lonely, so thanks for being cool for the vast majority of you. It was a good season overall, and I’m not even upset. I’ll miss hanging out until April but that’s not so bad! GG to the Brewers. Maybe we’ll get em’ next year!

    Go bears!

  2. Good season. Nothing to be ashamed about this year.

Pending Kyle Tucker, whom I feel strongly about resigning, we can run this shit back next year with the addition of our promising and increasingly contributing youth movement for which this entire window of contention is contingent upon.

This ballclub is in a good place. Go cubs. See y’all in the Spring.

  3. Well, all in all a good season. We Get Steele back and Horton will be a stud. See y’all next season…

  4. you really couldn’t ask more from your pitching staff given how used up they were, the offense just couldn’t hit outside of wrigley.

proud of all we did this year.

  5. Going 4/31 is insane. Team completely collapsed since July. Tucker isn’t worth it. Happ needs to go. PCA needs to figure it out. Sign some pitching. Sad shit

  6. Wrigley crowd could beat the brewers but the cubs couldn’t

GG: we were playing with house money anyway

  7. Bright side, we have some solid young pieces and I’m optimistic. Let’s see how it all unfolds but above all FUCK THE BREWERS

  8. Not unsatisfied with this season at all. This loss certainly wasn’t the best, but I’m glad to see this team back in the post season after so long. The playoff window has effectively opened.

Coming back from 2-0, the Rizzo game, the Turner balls meme, gullizzy, one thing after another made this a really enjoyable season. Hope we come back even stronger

  9. It’s been a nice season. Shame it can’t go further, but I don’t like Milwaukee’s chances against the Dodgers anyway.

  10. Home field was so important, it was magical the other night, next season has to finish in 1st.

  11. Everyone other than Nico is just incapable of getting on base. Pathetic. Take the $40-50M a year you were gonna pay Tucker and pay for some stud pitchers.

  12. It’s going to be Blue Jays vs Dodgers. I hope the Dodgers win because r/Brewjays exists.

In all seriousness a Canadian team winning it this year of all years would be pretty hilarious.

  13. Nico Hoerner, Seiya Suzuki, and Michael Busch. You were men amongst all the other boys in the lineup.

  14. I don’t want to hear anything about “oh but Happs glove” HE HIT .100 IN A PLAYOFF SERIES

  15. Strangely was at peace coming into this game. Making them tremble going into 2-2 was worth it. We’ll be back with Steele and Horton next year fuckers

  16. Fact is, the Cubs were far, far too reliant on the home run this season. When they hit them, they were great. But when they didn’t, they were rarely able to play small ball and produce runs, and the offense collapsed in the second half because of it.

That will have to change if they want to take the next step.

  17. If I’m being honest I’m shocked they got it to game 5. We’re kinda like a slightly more expensive Tigers team without the megastar pitcher. Better offensive players, but those players go absolutely ice cold for gigantic stretches of time.

We need an ace and we need 2 or 3 Nico Hoerner type players that also have power. Consistent play but also pop.

I dunno. They need to spend some damn money. And they need to get ahead of the curve instead of being behind it.

  18. No one go into the Dodgers sub and say “ coming in peace” save that lame shit for other fans

  19. According to some in this sub, the Cubs were going to be an 84-win team and also get eliminated in the Wild Card. I’d say we outperformed. I’m just glad we forced Game 5 and weren’t blown out and the Brewers didn’t do their annoying singles all night.

    Here’s to Opening Day 2026!

  20. Kyle Tucker whiffing on middle-middle… I’m sorry but with that, plus that generational cold streak, I have no interest in seeing him return. The advanced stats will tell me I’m wrong. But I don’t really care anymore

  21. We played in the NLDS for the first time since 2017 and took the team with the best record in baseball to 5 games after falling behind 2-0. Sucks it’s the brewers but I can’t be too mad

  22. I don’t hate that the Cubs lost, the Brewers were a better team the last 2/3 of the season. I hate that I had to watch them lose while listening to the worst broadcast team I’ve ever heard for a playoff series.
