  5. Within two minutes of this happening I was dragged into a fight at the Cask ‘n Flagon, trying to help this Suffolk University law student wearing a Posada jersey not be killed by some inbred fucks from Revere.

    I still have a little spot of blood, probably from the law student, on the sleeve of my Jeter jersey which I still wear but can’t button anymore.

    Can’t believe this was 22 years ago.

  15. My hot take is that everyone is way too forgiving of Pedro for this incident, which he caused in the first place by throwing at the Yankees again and again and again.

    Was Don Zimmer way out of pocket charging at him? For sure.

    But there are plenty of other ways to handle the situation than “grab a 72 year old man by the head and throw him to the ground.”

    It’s insane that Pedro wasn’t suspended for this, obviously it worked out well for us but he shouldn’t have been allowed to start game 7.

  44. Roid rage by Manny and I have always said this that there was no reason for Pedro to take down Zimmer. That old man wasn’t going to do anything to Pedro but he was so full of anger and hate. U can tell by looking at his face before he took Zimmer down. One of the greatest pitchers but also dirty.
