I know the sentimental posts are going to be in full effect, but I just had to make it. I love the Cubs. I love Chicago. I love the players on this team. We got outplayed and it’s just how the game goes sometimes. But no matter what, I will always love this team.

  5. I grew up with the 1985 Bears and the 1989 Cubs. Nothing can hurt like that since. Cue Johnny Cash Hurt.

  8. This team was a blast to watch all year long. Frustrating at times, and euphoric at times. They always put up a good fight even if times were rough.
    

    Sad that the season came to an end like this, but I could not be more proud to be a fan of this team.
    

    I had the absolute time of my life going to 3 playoff games this year and was lucky enough to see them win all 3.
    

    We’ll be back. Regardless of what happens with Tucker – the majority of this team is locked in next year. Excited to see more growth from Busch, PCA, Mo Baller, Caissie, Shaw, and the young guys. Let’s hope they use this loss as fuel to get better. Let’s get healthy again, get Steele, Amaya, and Horton back, add some pieces, and win the damn division next year so we can play a potential game 5 or 7 at OUR home next year. You saw how hard it was for other teams to play playoff games at Wrigley.
