They actually left the ice…
You know, I kind of want to say this is one of the first controversial goalie interference calls of the season, but I don’t think it should be. Sportsnet was carrying the Philadelphia home broadcast and immediately one of the announcers sees the contact between the player and the goalie and goes, “That’s incidental. That’s going to count.” And yeah, Philly did leave the ice thinking they had just got their first win for new head coach Rick Tocket. But on review, this is very clearly goalie interference. Now, how much was Frederick Anderson actually interfered with? I think a decent amount. But either way, anytime there’s any contact in the crease, doesn’t even really matter whether the goalie or player initiated it, it’s going to be called if the goal comes shortly after, if they were even somewhat affected, which Frederick Anderson was here. So, Philly has to come back on the ice. They hop back into the final moments of threeon-ree overtime. And after a beautiful bit of passing, one of my favorite players in the NHL, Seth Jarvis, ices it with a slapper. Carolina goes from winning to losing. And man, I will say though, I’ve really enjoyed how much Seth Jarvis has become a personality in the NHL. I don’t know why. He’s just an extremely lovable player. He really just seems like a player who’s like any of us had we made it to the NHL. He always seems happy to just be there. Anyway, Carolina came hard in the first. The Flyers got a bit of a lucky one. Trevor Ziggress picks up his first point as a Philadelphia Flyer. He would have had one on that last goal as well had it counted as Kenkne misses the net and Owen Tippet finishes off. In the second, we saw some of the Carolina Magic, which I thought was really flowing this game. You know, I said last year when the trade was made, Stanovven, he’s going to be a special player. I talk about him every time I can. Beautiful passing play between him and Blake as Stanhovven is able to slot home the rebound. Bobby Brink, who was also all over the ice tonight, would get his first of the season. Hall and Stall, you love to say that, would then get the Flyers up on some really nice passing plays. Both goals in the second. Again, Carolina just looks hot early, but Travis Sanheim would tie it with four minutes left, sending it to overtime where both teams would at least get a taste of what it’d be like to win the game. Anyway, we got a lot to cover, so I’m going to move on and I’ll see you guys
On today’s game between the Philadelphia Flyers vs the Carolina Hurricanes, featuring a game winner by Seth Jarvis!

Man.. I hate Carolina. Definitely the villain of the Metro
I'm fine with this as long as they stay consistent. Just get the right call, that's what's most important
I was at this game. We were motioning the fans to come back to their seats.
I was just at the Toronto vs Detroit game it was great back and forth (Detroit fan)
There is basically a 0% chance that is called consistently lol
Hey there Eck….I thought of a player combo that has names that just absolutely roll off the tongue. This year in Boston you have Andrew Peeke and Morgan Geekie. I could swear that I heard they had a goal together and someone had to announce that it was Peeke to Geekie for the goal….or something of the sort. Still though….I’m waiting to hear it for myself!! 💥👊🤣👊🫶😁😆🤣😆🤣😆
0:45 – Yup, makes contact with his head, he's in the crease. That's interference.
1:00 you meant to say Carolina goes from loosing to winning (not from winning to loosing)?
And the week of Philly pain continues. It's not even funny anymore. It's literally sad
Absolute bullshit Anderson initiated
Had a feeling you’d post this
So glad to hear my boy Jarvy getting some love finally
I think it should matter who initiated contact.. but so be it
Yeah, it's the right call. I'm still not happy about it.
It's been a rough week in Philly, everyone lost and the Phils got knocked out on a weird error. This was the icing on the cake for me, waiting for it to be Monday so we can get this week over and done with.
Anderson initiated the contact! Sanheim would have never touched him! Goal should have counted
First controversial goalie interference call? Did you see the Jackets get robbed in Nashville?
1:02 Carolina went from losing to winning not the other way around
How do you not know which team you're talking about???
So the rule is that if the goalie reaches out for you, and falls over because of it then it's no goal? That's an interesting one
lol f Philly
Classic flyers loss.
Not even controversial. Dude skates into the crease on his own and makes contact that very obviously hindered the goaltender's ability to play his position.
Anderson initiated the contact. You say it doesn't matter who but thats dumb as fuck.
If the tender just doesnt try to hit Samheim with his pad then no contact would have been made. Whats stopping any tender from flopping at anyone who enters the crease?
Get your shit together and admit this is a bullshit call. Anyone who thinks this is how the rule should be called doesnt like hockey.
Almost half this video is glazing canes players or the team.
You are a damn joke.
the carolina boredomfest got the stinkiest win of the season def should have counted the flyers goal
already not liking rick. the lines aren't good mixes and not playing michkov a second in overtime is a great way to turn the fanbase on you. also can we talk about the "selke" captain Sean couturier looking like a lost puppy on that game winner
Quitter.
It's in the blue. It's interference
So happy hockey is back
Philly taking a lot of L’s lately 😂
You might want to edit this at the 1:00 minute mark
I heard it on the radio on my way to work and thought for a good four hours that the Flyers won
Let’s go canes!
