What a quote. This has been a memorable season if anything.

  1. Does…does this mean we won’t have to deal with any more Bidwills when Michael passes?

Edit: nevermind, he does have children. We’re not escaping shit 🫠

  2. That’s an interesting take. I don’t think players respect JG any less tho. If anything they might look at Bidwill less favorably for fining him. Which if the NFLPA report cards are any indication, the players love JG and really dislike Michael Bidwill anyway. He’s just a buffoon.

  3. This coaching staff was already pretty ball-less with how they’ve been calling games this year anyway

  4. Bullshit quote. The Cardinals fined Gannon to avoid any potential intervention from the league or the NFLPA. That would have been way worse than issuing a fine and being done with it. Players are not stupid and know that.

  5. As far as I’m concerned he cut his own balls off when they ran on 3rd and 8 and then said he had no part of that decision making.

  6. Take this with a grain of salt, but my brother played for the Cardinals for a year under Kliff Kingsbury. After each game, Kliff and Vance Joseph reportedly had to meet with Michael Bidwill so he could give his input and review the game — something an owner really shouldn’t be doing, especially since he’s not a football expert. I’ve heard people say he’s not as involved with Gannon, but I have a feeling he’s still more hands-on than an owner should be. Given the Bidwells’ history, it wouldn’t be all that surprising.

  7. Maybe thatll wake him up

Dude looks like hes comatose on the sidelines

  8. Issues with Gannon aside.. the ownership meddling with team affairs and pushing his feelings down to the coach/player level seems to be a constant problem for the product on the field. Owner should be responsible for picking the GM/vision for the team.. the GM then picks the coach and then works with the coaches to shape the roster.. Owner shouldn’t even talk to the GM, coach or players during the season as far as I am concerned. These are businessmen who think they know something about football..

  9. Yeah some people think he’s gonna back next season but I don’t think so. When Campbell came out and talked about the Emari incident that shows the shift in the locker room and players are questioning Gannon. We gotta start getting some wins or I think the seat is scorching hot, if he would have canned Petzing sooner it might have saved his job. I saw a quote from a NFC executive about this and it said if you’re gonna fine him you might as well fire him, I wouldn’t be surprised if Michael is putting feelers out there on potential candidates.

  10. my biggest complaint of gannon during his tenure has fr been that he lacks balls lmao what a quote
