Harrison Butker is still 4th all time for FG percentage. He’s having a mid season, first in his career actually when you take into account he played throughout 22 with an injury caused by the Cardinals turf.
I don’t remember seeing so many posts, and demands every week, in game threads etc for him being fired than I have in my life. People can say stuff like “Kickers are a dime a dozen” and then I’d like you to look at a team like the Vikings whom consistently have kicking woes time and time again in playoffs. With Butker, he’s been automatic in the postseason, clutch in close game situations under the 2 minute warning.
If his season continues like this all year, that’s one discussion but people were calling for his head the first missed kick week 1 and it’s just baffling me on what feels like a forced narrative around him this year as if he’s on a hot seat?
All I want tonight is a win with no injuries, ya’ll can argue over style points…. :’ )
