12. I just watched the Aaron Hernandez documentary, featuring Chris Borland, two nights ago. I respect the decision he made more than ever. He looks happy and successful.

19. Borland was a monster, but also a really intelligent guy apparently.

    Even as a fan, I always found it pretty hard to be mad at him for retiring so early… the game will mess a man up.

20. I respect him for making it on the field. I respect him even more for leaving it on his own terms.

    Sometimes we see too many athletes play through concussions and see tragic ends.

    For me personally, I will always see his decision as smart and wise for prioritizing his long term health.
