Well, um, the Broncos won, but did they really or did the Jets just lose? Look, I got a lot to say. The defense is outstanding, right? The pass rush, one of the best we’ve ever seen. This team is going to probably break the record for sacks in an NFL season. But the reason the Broncos won is not because they played better than the Jets. It’s because their defense bailed them out yet again. I I honestly don’t understand why and or how this team’s offense is so inconsistent all the time. The penalties, the drops, the fumbles, the play calling, you name it on offense. We had a problem with it today. And it’s just the Broncos can never put together 60 minutes of a good football game. They can’t. They put in 10 minutes here, 30 minutes there, 40 minutes here. It’s never 60 minutes of a good football game. I honestly don’t know what to say. It does matter cause this our tone. We need to change up our offense and change pace. A win isn’t always a win. It’s hiding our flaws and we need to change it.
Peart killed two promising drives. Nix slid too early and ultimately we didn’t convert on that drive which killed it. And once again, we lose the penalty battle. Why do we make the game so hard?
Notice that the Jets took away the bootleg, so that left Payton with a play sheet of four plays, all runs up the middle.

Thankfully, the Jets are following through on their preseason prediction of being the team to beat this year by allowing everyone to beat them.

This offensive play calling is atrocious! These constant screens and plays behind the line are killing drives!
Coverage sacks!!! Too!! Stuborninly trying to run the ball when they'obviously got fIve jokers that can get positive yardage and take it to the house on first down on any given play as a pass. Ingraim, Mims, Dobbins, Franklin, Harvey. 50/50 run/pass – make even a good run defense hopelessly dizzy and become dominant rather than predictable.
