Like the title says. I noticed that in this section of the 200 level, these seats all have little screens in front of them. I noticed them before sports gambling was legal in NC (like back when it was still the PNC arena), so I don't think it's related to that, but I'm at a loss as to what this could be. Are these seats for shareholders and the like to monitor the team and season stats more closely? Is this some rich people thing that I just won't understand? Send help.

It’s a personal screen to watch replays and games around the league
These are club level seats. A step up from traditional club level but not quite suite level. There’s a bar right behind these seats and the in house restaurant.
I believe they are basically so you can watch the TV feed. Just based on what I’ve seen in other stadiums that I’ve toured.
Yes
Season tix here are around 16,500 per. 😉
Just a personal screen of the game
So a few things. Any person can buy access to one of those seats it is in no way exclusive. However they are one of the most expensive seats in the building so your assumption about the people being wealthy is correct. I was fortunate enough to be able to sit there one game pre-Rod & pre pandemic (aka when they were way cheaper). From what I remember the screens are just broadcasting you the tv feed. However I’m not sure if they have made any changes to them with all of the renovations going on in the arena.
Sometimes the screens are showing other sporting events- like during NFL playoffs
lol I’m in this picture. We bought seats at 5:25 and got them for a screaming deal. Turns out you get dinner and two drinks included! And waitstaff that you can order from.
Guys in front of us were watching college football. Ours had stats like face-off percentage predictions, time of possession, who skated the furthest (in miles?!) and showed replays.
No. But you might be too poor to know about the section directly across the arena from this, behind the other net.
It’s fun to sit there but not worth the price for the screens. The screens are old and are slanted a bit too much where the angle has reduced clarity. Hopefully Lenovo will update those screens to 4K and make those screens useable. I’ve sat all around that arena and I have to say the best seats for hockey are in the 300s sections where you can see the full ice and you see the plays developing. The lower seats are cool once in a while but found I was missing plays because the lack of view.
I can’t imagine paying that much money to still watch the game on tv. 🤣
You should see what I paid for Legends club if you think these are pricey …
