We can talk about the LA Kings. Uh, assume we have the same addition. It’s Cory Perry. It’s Cory Perry. They’re going to lose in the finals now. Congratulations, LA. Yeah, I don’t know. They got I don’t know if they can do that, but I mean, Cory Perry is wins hockey games. Good player. Yeah. This is the guy you want to add for a team that’s stuck in first round purgatory. This is the kind of impact playoff guy that you want to add. Yep. To get to to boost your team out of the first round. Mhm. I just don’t know that the Kings were there. I mean, I guess, you know, they they were in the first round. only lost some one winger and added Perry. I think this is a team that Yeah, maybe doesn’t beat Edmonton, right? But yeah, could get out of the first round. But their losses, uh, I think each of us are going to talk about a different guy in the same section. Who’ you pick? Uh, I put their minds. Okay, you could say yours because mine is inclusive of probably both of the guys. Did you pick Gavricov or Spence? Uh, I picked Gabriov. That’s a fair That’s a fair tough choice between him and Spence, right? I pick Gabricov because this is a team that’s in their contention window. Yeah. And Gabricov is a first pair. Great defenseman. Spence still developing. If you had to lose one for a playoff run, you’d want to lose Spence over Gaov. But I mean, they’re both big losses, especially when you replace them with Brian Dumlin and Cody. Cody CC. Yep. You lose Gabricov Spence, you replace them with Brian Dumlan, Cody CC. Both are on terrible contracts. Both are washed beyond belief. Like what? They got older and worse. Crazy. If it’s if it’s any cheaper, it’s it’s not a appreciation. Yeah. So, what you put for their hole? Uh, I put first pair defense. Clark is the first pair right in of the future hopefully for them. Dy can still play well when healthy, but you probably shouldn’t be putting him up for 20 to 25 minutes a night. If you’re not putting him up for that many minutes a night, you probably have a lot less concerns with the health. Mikey Anderson, second pair guy. Get get it. Take his Yeah, but like are you getting excited about Mike Anderson? No, I mean he’s he’s just a complimentary piece. Brian Duman, he’s a third pair guy at this point. Cody Cece, third pair. Best agent in the NHL. Absolutely. In the NHL. He’s a third pair. Or maybe even you don’t want him in the lineup at all. And then like Joel Edmonson, a fine 60. This is terrible. Yeah, I put I put management as the whole cuz I just don’t see how this this could have possibly happened. I think this is probably Kopitar’s last year. This is the team that you’re going to tread him out with. These are the pieces that they’ve bought. Like I I just think that’s a travesty of a way to to treat him when like you’re right. If they had just added Cory Perry and don’t get matched into the Oilers in the first round, they could very well get to the second round, maybe even to the uh the conference finals. Like there’s a world where they were a piece or two away and and some luck. You know, Keer can do it in the playoffs, right? You know, Copitar is great and they just threw a lot of it away in a way that just doesn’t really make any sense. Tough day to be a Kings
