NFL Admits Will Reichard’s Field Goal Hit Cable, Will Not Make Stat Adjustment

[Music] What’s going on, Jeromes? So, of course, we are used to the National Football League just screwing over the Minnesota Fine Bikings at every single opportunity. Uh, and Will the Thrill has been just fantastic. Like, you know, fighting through that quad injury last year was perfect up until that injury last season was perfect this year until All right. So the 51 yard attempt uh late in the Browns Vikings game clearly hit that that cable of the stupid spider cam, right? But which by the way, they still had that cable for the Broncos and Jets game, which is just great. Uh but it was a weird kick because initially it started out straight down the pipe and then it veered off violently to the right. You’re like, “What the hell? That that was not correct.” Now, initially I thought that it was partially blocked by the Browns, but as video came out, yes, it did hit that cable. And of course, the National Football League did nothing about it because the rule is if it hits something like, you know, a cable or top of ceiling where if it goes in, it’s good. It’s a free roll. Uh if it’s no good, it’s a rekick. So, the Vikings should have been able to rekick that 51 yard, but didn’t happen even though the NFL admitted that it did. Jordan Schultz Schultz report uh sources Vikings kicker uh Will Rackards agents and the team’s front office requested that the NFL remove his missed field goal from last week’s London game after it clearly struck a camera cable causing the ball to take an unnatural turn to the right. The NFL acknowledged it was a mis call but ruled they will not make the statistical adjustment. Why not? Why not? Honestly, why do they care? It’s a good question. Will the thrill was perfect uh leading up into the season, but you of course you know Vikings fans, we we always have some beef because obviously the Vikings won and they covered, but what would happen if the Vikings lost by three or less? H what would happen right now? Obviously if Riker makes a field goal, it changes the dynamic of the end of the game, but honestly, what would happen? Say say the Vikings end up losing uh this game by three or less. So the NFL be like, “Ah, hit the cable, but it was a mis call. What are you gonna do?” Uh I And honestly, that that would have been such a Vikings way to lose. Uh but glad it didn’t come to it. Glad the Vikings got to three and two off the buy because thanks to Carson Wentz and Jordan Addison on that final drive. But for Will the Thrill, I mean, there’s a reason why like the agent and the team are are mad like because Riker, like we said, have been perfect uh on the season up until that point, eight for eight on field goals. And now he’s he’s got that miss that’s going to count against him. Might be the only field goal he misses all year. Knock out all the wood. Although it could be good because NFC title game where like well Will Rocker hasn’t missed a field goal all season. Well, we got that out of the way or something like that. But yeah, it it would be nice for will the throw stay perfect, but it’s all right. Can’t blame circumstances. just how’s the NFL have 10 bajillion cameras, including this one, ironically, and you can’t see that it clearly hit a cable, right? I I just don’t understand it, right? And why can’t why why didn’t the replay assistant catch this in real time? Why didn’t Park Avenue catch this in real time? Just inexcusable. And yes, Will the Throw should be perfect because he is perfect. Look at that face. Look at that face. That’s all. Anyways, your thoughts are thoughts. The NFL won’t change uh Will Thrill’s missed field goal although they acknowledge that it happened because sure. Let us know comment section. You guys the best you know what to do.   10. The NFL is the same bunch of “individuals” that exposed the emails of Jon Gruden and wanted to be the ones that presided over the proceedings instead of it going to court. That are CURULT to the max. Now, if you look up whether the NFL is a sport it says that it’s considered “entertainment”. Please notice all the betting advertisements that show up on the NFL. Love my Vikings but I want to win, or lose fare and square.

  12. We won. Really don’t care about a meaningless kick during the regular season. The postseason is where it counts. ‘98 NFC championship game still stings.

  15. The NFL has announced that it officially doesn't care anymore, it's just waiting until AI allows it to fully simulate games and it can be done with the competitive whole sports thing to pursue it's corporate sponsorships with the Saudis.
