JSN now has 696 yards through 6 weeks, including a monster 162-yard game against the Jaguars today. He’s been absolutely unstoppable, crisp routes, clutch catches, and chemistry with Darnold clicking on every level.

This officially puts him at the top of the league in receiving yards and sets a new Seahawks franchise record for most yards through six games.

  1. Rams fans will blame this on Puka getting injured today, but even with him missing time today he still has 9 more targets than JSN

  2. I was looking forward to seeing him in an arms race with Puka, but that’s likely over with now with Puka’s injury.

Now if we can get him some more TDs, OPOY might be on the table (assuming Darnold doesn’t get it as a token runner-up MVP award).

  3. Everyone says Sam Darnold looked good because of JJ, maybe JJ/JSN look(ed) good because of Darnold. (/s)

  4. I remember that draft. JSN was the first WR picked, and immediately it started a run. The next three teams right after us all picked WRs.

  5. Just wait till next week and Metcalf gets a 500 yard game, then this post and Schneider are gonna look real stupid

  6. Who does he remind you of for former Hawk receivers? Spouse and I were discussing the other night.

  7. I did not think the team would be doing this well with a whole new coach this quickly. Felt like Pete Carroll took awhile to get things going.

  8. You think having Cooper Kupp (who owns greatest receiving season all time) as a teammate is helping JSN?

  9. If you trend out his yards per game for the rest of the season, he’ll break Calvin Johnson’s single season receiving yards record by 8 yards. Granted the season is a game longer, but I still think it’s worth noting.
