  1. Clearly Shanny broke some girl’s heart in middle school and he was hexed as a result. As awful our injury luck is, we had multiple opportunities to win in our two loses this season so it’s not like we were ever blown out. Our offense line is ass but I’m optimistic that we may be able to crawl our injured corpse into the playoffs this year and I’m not entirely calling it quits on this season.

  2. mac jones overlooking three open receivers so that he can sail a pass into triple coverage 💔💔💔

  3. You can only pull so many of these close games out of your hat with a team decimated with so many injuries.

I was literally saying this morning, “At least we still have Fred to anchor the defense amongst all these injuries…” Shesh!

We had to play a flawless game to win, but the turning point was that Baker scramble on third and long. Mac played admirably but his limited mobility hurt us today. We were able to dodge it a bit but our team’s weaknesses from injuries are starting to catch up with us.

We definitely need our guys back soon and Lynch NEEDS to make a deal for a big playmaker on the defensive side of the ball ASAP!

Imagine what this team would look like without the stellar kicker (Eddy) we have btw.

But with all of what has happened this year, we’re still positioned nicely for a respectable playoff run!

  4. At some point Shanahan and Lynch have to be held accountable for neglecting this offensive line, right?

  5. This was genuinely one of the worst O-line performances I’ve ever seen. Puni and Brendel were comically bad today

They still don’t take building the O-line seriously.

Why do I say that? They refuse to move off of Brendel and they actually extended and doubled down on RT.

    Prayers up for Fred.

  6. Puni’s regression this season is so disappointing. I thought maybe you could excuse him to start the season as wasn’t he dealing with an injury where it wasn’t a sure thing he’d play. But now that we’re 6 weeks in. There are no excuses. A year ago he looked like a future pro bowler. Now he is playing like the worst starting OL on this team which is saying something.

Stout with that missed tackle on the 3rd and 14 run late in the 3rd quarter in my opinion was the back breaker.

Also Sigle is burnt toast anytime he’s targeted this season. I’m shocked more teams aren’t targeting him more through the first 5+ weeks. 49ers starting safeties this season probably are one of the worst in the NFL.

No INT in 13 straight games. NFL record. Lack of pass rush isn’t helping although good to see M.Williams get his first sack today.

Moore caught two punts inside the 5. He has absolutely no field awareness on punt returns.

Jones, Bourne, Tonges performed well. The biggest bright spot is Pineiro I guess?

Losing Warner basically sealed this season from not doing anything special. Still could make the playoffs but won’t do much there now.

  7. This loss just feels different..feels like our season’s momentum just flipped. Especially with Fred’s injury.

  8. Our o line fucking blows. And it has since 2021. Kyle needs to just get over himself for this.

  9. Maybe this still stop the idiots in this sub saying Mac is better than Purdy. Mac got sacked 6 times. 2 picks. I don’t think Purdy has ever been sacked that many times.

  10. Alright so clearly CMC took a devil’s bargain to sap the health from other players to keep playing and I’m going to need him to cut that out.

Or, at this point, he is like the only one left so I guess he has to keep doing it.

  11. O-line couldn’t have been more exposed than it was this week. Can’t wait to draft 3 wrs in the draft as a response

  12. Us not tackling Baker on 3rd and forever was the game sealing play. And losing Warner for most likely the rest of the season is back breaking. All we can hope for now is Brock, Kittle, Ricky and a bunch of our other offensive guys coming back and scoring just double digit points every game now.

  13. Fred is done for the year I’m hearing. Defense can’t tackle, o-line is dog shit. The only reason we have a winning record is strength of schedule. We need our big dogs to come back asap and not play through injuries. It’s gonna be a long season boys

  14. I’m not even pissed off about losing the game. Right now I’m pissed off at Lynch and Shanahan for doing absolutely nothing last off season to fix the O-line. It’s absolutely sub par.

  15. Man, I can handle losses. And I wouldn’t even be upset with us just not being the better team on any given day. But why is it every fucking year, every fucking week, we just lose all pro after all pro after all pro to injury? It cannot be just bad luck. Not when it’s every. Fucking. Year.

It’s just so fucking frustrating man, God fucking damn it.

  16. The Fred Warner injury is the last straw but….this is a team with serious issues.

3.1 yards per carry on the ground so far this season. No, that’s not all because Kittle is out. The 49ers have averaged 4.5ypc in the Shanahan era, and 4.0ypc in that same timeframe without Kittle playing. 3.1ypc is a drastic drop. This team has no run game.

The pass rush is lacking big time. With Bosa out the 49ers defense can’t consistently get pressure on the quarterback.

Win or lose, 4-2, 6-0, or 0-6, a team that can’t run the ball and can’t rush the passer can’t compete against the best teams of the NFL. This is doubly true in January.

This team had to contend with these two major issues before today even began – and now they’re dealing with that minus Fred Warner.

Can’t run the ball. No identity on offense. Can’t rush the passer. Now missing your two best defensive players.

I’ve been optimistic so far this season but it’s starting to look bleak.

  17. Mac Jones was decent but him getting obliterated behind the OL shows why purdy is still #1 for this team

  18. No 1 seed clearly either Bucs or Lions. Niners lost but it wasn’t THAT bad considering our whole team is beaten up. Playoff picture as a whole really doesn’t look that bad. Purdy and Kittle coming back. Trades on defense highly likely.

Will we get the number 1 seed? Probably not. Will we most likely make the playoffs? Probably. Getting to the playoffs is more important than seeding. I’m optimistic for the rest of the season and the playoff picture. A loss isn’t fun but 4-2 with a hospital team while our starters rest up and admin figures shit out could be a lot worse.

  19. Another game where we can point to the failures of the offensive line. Mac is not mobile enough to navigate a collapsing pocket. The line was trash today. But on defense you got fucking get Baker down on 3-14.

  20. I must be blinded by bias but surely the 49ers own the stat for most (starting) players lost over the last 3+ years? Even when we have a healthy season our stars get hurt in the Super Bowl. It’s so exhausting. I don’t think I’m going to dedicate my Sundays for football this season. Can’t take it mentally lol.
