Astros should keep Christian Walker and avoid trading Paredes? #Astros #Shorts
I know a lot of people are saying, “Oh my gosh, what are you talking about Wheelhouse? Christian Walker’s terrible. Just just DFA him. Just get rid of him.” It’s not that simple. And I think the Astros value his glove. And I bet that they’re going to say, “That was an anomaly. That was an off year. He’s going to come back and he’s going to be better than he was.” So I think they’re going to put their eggs in the Christian Walker basket if they’re going to trade. And I think Pedis may be up for a trade. Let Walker go. Play Victor Caratini at 1st base
Play Paredes at second. He has played there before. Give Walker another chance. Platoon Yordan and Altuve in left and DH. Trade Sanchez, McCormack, Melton,. Make Caratini the main catcher. Trade Diaz. Get another starting pitcher at least.
Keep them both
Agree to keep Walker
He needs to work on his swing this off-season..Great glove but down bat this yr
Keep both but trade Diaz 3 yrs haven't improve nothing in catching

I say keep him and have him as DH. And keep Walker
Paredes has been awesome!!!
I agree, Brett. I hope you are right.
Ironically, that is what we have in Paredes…a patient at bat, good arm, and defensive skills…much like Bregman.
Paredes can learn to play first base…his bat is more valuable than Walker's…keep him and trade Walker while you can get something for him…
Let Walker go, and op inconsistent
