  1. Heal up Fred…. What a warrior, will miss seeing him on the field, he is THE heart of this team.

  2. Chris Godwin got his Week 7 last season and wasn’t back until Week 4 of this season so he might be out close to a calendar year if he has the same timeline.

  3. Its my fault guys. I was just explaining to my wife before the game that this guys so tough he’s only missed one game in his career due to injury.

I’m actually devastated and I truly wish him a speedy recovery.

Fred’s always been the rock of this team, and I know he’ll try and keep the guys from losing morale without him.

  4. That’s the season, unfortunately. Fred’s the heart and soul of the D, we don’t have an identity without him.

  5. At this point there is very little to be optimistic about. We were close to bringing reinforcements back offensively and momentum for a possible impact trade. This injury is not one we are coming back from I am sorry. No trades incoming. We will work some vets out this week and bring some washed guy and headed towards a season where we will be one and done in playoffs. And little optimism going into next season since both Bosa and Warner likely will not be ready to start next season. Seemingly no urgency to invest in an oline that is close to complete collapse.

  6. This is my guy. He’s the one I enjoy watching the most, and now it’s been taken from me. Screw this season. 😭

  7. I’m really glad I enjoyed the 80s-90s run of success because someone must have made quite the deal with the devil and sold our future for it back then.

  8. We look for to football all year and after just 5 weeks it’s taken away from us. Without Bosa we might be able to do it, but in no world we win without Fred.

  9. Fuck. The broadcast said it was a dislocated ankle. Thought that was the best case scenario, avoiding surgery and all. Apparently not. The blows just keep coming.

  10. When Bosa went down, I wasn’t as concerned as some people. Fred is pretty much the on-field coach for the D. I think we’ll get a young body in there that will be decent, but not on his level. The big thing we’ll miss is his experienced eye recognizing formations, motion, etc. can’t replace that.

D will still be strong because we go the best coaching. But it’s going to be heavy on the O now.

  11. I’m taking a break from watching this team as intently as I used to, this era has brought me so much joy and so much disappointment all at the same time but I’m not going to let myself believe they having a fighting chance at contending without Fred or bosa. This year’s goal should just be about letting the young guys get up to speed and rebuild. None of us want to accept it but it’s the reality of the situation. I feel really bad for the players.

  12. Seahawks fan here to wish Fred a speedy recovery.

This shit sucks ass I have nothing else to add.

Bless the knees and ankles for everyones teams.

  13. No reason to rush Purdy or anyone else back at this point. Nor to trade for a DE or LB except for depth. Might as well sell JJ and let BA have til Dec. It’s not a full tank situation. We are still goin to win some games, but all were goin to do is worsen our draft position. Fuck shit is insane how injury plagued this season has been

  14. Bucs fan coming. Fred Warner is probably my favorite non Buc. It wasn’t a dirty hit and I’m happy about that. But I also feel for y’all. The 49ers are my second favorite nfl team.

    Here is to health.

I hope he gets healthy and kicks the shit out of the NFC for years to come.
