Spo on Ware: “I’m encouraged by it. Look, everybody has so much attention..and what I’m going to say…he’s getting better, you can see the talent…I’d much rather coach somebody who’s willing to be coached, who can put up 24/10…he did some impressive things…we will continue to work with him.”

Spo is hard on Ware because he knows the potential he has.
We’re lucky to have the best player development in the league. I can’t wait to see how Ware grows this year.
Main difference between Ware and Whiteside is in this part of his answer:
# “I’d much rather coach somebody who’s willing to be coached”
Really hoping we don’t have another Hassan Whiteside situation with Ware, good for Spo and it seems like he has forced Ware to take accountability and work hard for his spot.
Hopefully he’ll learn from what happened to Whiteside and Beasley.
Immediately goes on defense when asked about ware 😂
I just hope to see ware take a decent step forward
But the guy that just got extended to a 62 million contract for doing absolutely nothing gets no scrutiny. Ok
