First off im all for it. Especially if he can be signed for relatively cheap and brought up in the minors for at least a little while. If he shows to be a decent 1st baseman with emergency ability to play catcher would be cool. Also, does anyone know if hes actually able to be signed on a minor league deal?

Dude from an Asian league with three names and the first two of them are hyphenated? Has padres written all over it tbh
Preller already probably is looking into him and so many others. Which one he’ll pick is impossible to say because we all know that coke maniac can do the strangest of signings.
Dude has names from Tekken (Baek) and Mortal Kombat (Kang). Gotta sign him.
Should probably do a $700million 40 year contract to lock him up until 2065
His name sounds like Temu Michael King, if Michael King were a batter.
We don’t need a first baseman who doesn’t even have a .500 SLG in the KBO.
Heck, sign him and bring back kim as well.
The talent level in the KBO is definitely a notch below NPB. KBO hitters haven’t fared great in transitioning to the MLB, it took HSK 1-2 seasons to just be an average MLB hitter.
Bae Cocaine? Preller’s in.
As always, we garner interest for an international player, get close on getting them… then out the nowhere, they get signed by either the Dodgers or Cubs
Baek-ho Kang is atrocious with plenty of brain fart moments. If you want a first baseman from Asia not named Munetaki Murakami, you better tell Preller to spend his efforts recruiting Kazuma Okamoto, who according to Japanese media is getting posted by the Yomiuri Giants this offseason.
This guy’s not really known for work ethic and attitude..and he had regressed last 3 years…but if we can sign him up cheap, i am all for it.
I live in Korea and watch as much KBO as MLB. It’s a big no from me. He’s an inconsistent dope and literal mouth breather. (Truly, once I noticed his mouth is almost never closed, I couldn’t unsee it.)
KBO generally guys need stellar defense, speed, and baseball IQ to cushion their transition to MLB pitching. Ain’t got it.
