“It’s so classless to mock our flag tradition, can’t you enjoy your win with humility like we do”

  1. I’m usually all for humility, especially when the scoreboard speaks for itself.

But the Cubs seem very reluctant to really consider us their “rivals”, preferring instead to consider the Brewers a “little brother” program. If flying the L flag helps to organically add some spice to the rivalry, I’m in favor of it.

  2. Cubs fans that come to Milwaukee are usually pretty obnoxious. Fly the L every opportunity you have!

  3. You know if the cubs had won, they would never let us forget about Wrigley North. They already don’t let us forget about it, but it would be amplified by 1000. I saw a fan with a Wrigley north flag last night.

  4. Feels like a lot of Cubs fans expect both league-wide pity for them like they still have a drought but also want to shit-talk everyone else

  5. Yeah we don’t appreciate Fk Green Bay but you don’t see us belly aching about it.

  6. Hypocritical much? The players didn’t forget their warm Wrigly welcome. Good Fuck em!!! As the sage wisdom by a beer vendor was bestowed upon me when Chi came to AmFam in reg season and Fibs lined the stands as far as the eye could see, “Fuck em send em home crying again”🙌🍻🙌

  7. I say to the victor goes the spoils if the cubs would’ve won we would’ve never heard the last of it, case in point anytime the bears beat the packers it’s still a talking point as it should.

  8. Cubs fan here, don’t know why this popped up in my feed, but you guys should enjoy shit like this. There is nothing better as a sports fan than when the losing team and their fan base cry the saltiest tears… that’s when you know the loss hurt. Mocking another team’s traditions just goes with the territory.

So continue to fly the “L” and I’ll continue to wait for Benny to try and sell me insurance after he goes down that water slide… No Benny, we have the Pedro Cerrano insurance, AmFam is for peasants…

Good luck for the rest of the postseason, and we will see you all next year.

  9. “It’s not even a rivalry, but we’re definitely cheering for the Dodgers. If it were the Reds or Pirates we’d be cheering for them. But like, we don’t even think about you. All we care about is our battle for second in the division with the Cardinals. Rent free.”
