Maybe we should give ourselves a bit of grace and recognize that Seattle has A LOT of excellent pitchers. They deserve credit.

still have PTSD from the all the sliders
Two things can be true. 1. Seattle has very good pitching. 2. We struggled offensively for a while and if we chalk it up to only “oh they just have good” pitching we’re going to miss the that there are legitimate flaws in this offense that teams have figured out how to exploit.
The offensive has been horrendous for months. If the offense was playing at a reasonable then got shutout in Game 5, people wouldn’t be all up in arms about it.
To be fair Vladdy is the only solid bat out of that bunch you highlighted
