Draymond airballs a wide-open three as Luka yells from the bench, “Oh, hell no!”

  1. Everyone airballs even at the pro level but surprised Draymond hasn’t improve his outside shooting much after 11 seasons.

Pretty amazing when on the flip side you look at someone like Brook Lopez who couldn’t shoot from outside at all and how is a pretty damn solid shooting from deep.

  2. Draymond: “Hey Luka how many rings ya got? I’m having ribs and fried chicken tonight, enjoy your garden salad and cottage cheese.”

  3. crazy lol last week there was a video of Draymond and Horford in practice hitting like 10 threes in a row effortlessly. I guess even the preseason crowds change things

  4. Draymond’s BBIQ is so high that he knows letting him take this shot is a smart defense decision. I bet it’s all he thinks about when he can’t find someone to pass to.

  5. Draymond has to change his shooting form.

When the form is that unnatural and has a clear hitch, he needs to get in rhythm just to be anywhere near the rim.

He should practice cold shooting where he takes a shot, does a calisthenic exercise rep that takes about 15 seconds, then takes another shot.

With his form, as bad as it is, once he’s in rhythm with it, he’ll find a way to be consistent.

But that doesn’t matter when you’re cold and there are games where you just don’t have it and after the break between quarters or half time, a shooter needs to turn on the switch.

The new statistic that matters but isn’t tracked heavily is shooting efficiency when a player comes off the bench or after a long break like being subbed out, between quarters, possessions after free throws, or after a timeout.

You have guys like Brunson and SGA come out of those breaks like ATOs and hit nothing but net consistently.

Draymond doesn’t release his shot towards the basket consistently.

His motion ends up releasing towards the ceiling instead of the rim.

How can you still be this bad when you play next to the unequivocal shooting grandest master of all time?
