Do Brewers have the best chance to beat the Dodgers? 🤔 Derek Jeter thinks they do

Brewers Dodgers, the average Joe’s versus the superstars and the Hollywood guys, uh, give us some key takeaway points as this one gets going tomorrow, game one Derek. Yeah, Milwaukee got over their playoff series hump, right? They haven’t won a series since 2018. I think they are outside of the Dodgers. I think the Dodgers are the best team and the best stars in in baseball, let alone in the National League. But Milwaukee, I think has the best chance of any other team in defeating the Dodgers. They’re 6-0 against them in the regular season and for the Dodgers and the Dodger fans they’re like, who cares? It’s not the postseason, but it means a lot to the Milwaukee Brewers and their mental state to know that they can defeat. The Los Angeles Dodgers and you’re talking about 6-0, right? I mean, that’s incredible. I, I agree with that cap. The other part is this is basically the best record Brewers with 97 against the best team, and this team, the Dodgers, they’re healthy for the first time all year, but why I like the Brewers is. If you’ve been in that stadium at Mat, you spent a lot of time in that stadium in that building. It’s one of the loudest, most exciting college football atmosphere that you’re gonna find, and they have a college type coach in Pat Murphy that’s done a brilliant job with that team, very hard to beat at home, 6 and all in the regular. Season, but guess what? During the playoffs, the Dodgers are the Dodgers. They need to come and execute differently during the playoffs so they can beat the Dodger. Otherwise it’s gonna be another blue sky year. Uh, the Davey versus Goliath narrative has already been written for the Dodgers and Brewers. It should be good.

  1. Dodgers fans shouldn’t get mad at Brewers trolls. Winning is unfamiliar territory for them, so let’s cut them some slack. The Dodgers have won almost twice as many division titles in the last 13 years as the Brewers have in their entire history. The Brewers have never won a World Series and haven’t captured the pennant since 1982. Most of their fans probably think a pennant is something you hang on your wall, not something you win.

The Dodgers, on the other hand, have won the division 12 out of the last 13 years. The one year they didn’t, they still finished with 106 wins, just one behind the Giants’ 107, and then knocked the Giants out of the playoffs. Funny how that worked out.

  2. Easy series win for the Milwaukee Brewers!! In game one Brewer pitchers have to bean Muncy and Freddie Freeman taking both out for the series! Then in game two another lethal bean ball to Ohtani! Just keep taking them out and I'm not talking on a date!

  3. According to many of the people who don’t like the Dodgers and their reasonings…the Dodgers, the Yankees, and the Mets would take turns winning the World Series every year. Yet, the Yankees didn’t even make it past the Divisional Round and the Mets didn’t even make the playoffs.

  4. These guys are great and give good analysis of the teams but they stink at predicting who will win and who won’t win. They were wrong last year picking the Yankees except papi.

  5. It’s not the regular season no more… it’s the NLCS, where the dodgers have been…. Look at it this way the dodgers beat the Phillies where ohtani and freeman didn’t do much in that series but if ohtani and freeman start hitting and the lineup behind them keeps doing what they did, the brewers have no chance

  6. when the dodger's got swept in the regular season, it was around their low offense and lose streak stretch. they had only 2-3 starters with relievers they just picked somewhere —now they're all healthy and they rarely make mistakes in the postseason. they sometimes can punt a game that's out of reach, but they always do the right thing when it matters.

  7. Back in July the Dodgers were simply cruising trying to get into the postseason. Because they are the defending champs every team in baseball played them hard even though to them it was just going through he motions. They are a different beast now.

  8. Totally agree with Big Papi on the regular season is just not the same as the postseason even though the Brewers feel like they have the most confidence, but in the end it doesn’t matter. The playoffs are another beast and the Dodgers can turn on their beast mode

  9. No one cares about the Dodgers except LA fans and the national media. It’s embarrassing they finished with the record they did with that payroll. Just wait when MLB institutes a salary cap. The Dodgers will become the next Dallas Cowboys, except LA has fair weather fans. At least Dallas fans love the Cowboys.

  10. As a Dodgers fan, I’m feeling apprehensive about this series 🤞 Yes, there are those who say that the 6-0 record of the Brewers over the Dodgers this year doesn’t mean anything in the postseason. But there are many reasons why one team dominates another team. If it’s because the losing team just had more injuries at the time, or they just didn’t play as well in the regular season, then they can do well in a postseason series. But sometimes there are cases where a team’s style just doesn’t do well with another team’s style. Because of this, there even cases where, e.g., team A dominates team B, and team B dominates team C, but for some reason team C dominates team A. But I hope that a healthy, more motivated Dodgers win. I’ll be only too glad to eat my words! 😀

  11. Dodgers still have a weak bullpen. They have to hope EvERY pitcher gives them a quality start, because you can't use nothing but starters all 7 games. Brewers only need to get to a starter or two early and it will add alot of pressure

  12. Phillies bats went cold a bit pitching for Both clubs were good Philly still had a shot that throwing error killed them LA lucked out cuz they were on the verge of running it back to Philly and the umpire who apologized for the strike that he called a ball that eventually tied the game one bad call or few can change the whole flow or momentum of the game …

  13. The Dodgers don’t care what happened in the regular season it means NOTHING…..they’re Healthy now and it’s the postseason which the Dodgers are a different Team 💙🩵💙

  14. the 6-0 stat is deceiving because Dodgers was struggling in July with injuries. Now they have Ohtani and Snell pitching for them with a full rotation. Talking about home crowds lol did they forget the Dodgers just beat Phillies who has the best home crowd in baseball? These commentators just saying these things so people continue to watch, what they really think is Dodgers is a veteran playoff team and heavy favorites.

  15. chad best guy.. shohei drove in winning run dodgers game 2 and drew intentional walk to load bases in game 4 for Mook. were u watching the games ? Winning pitcher First Game. this sounds like an anglo- american comment

  16. Your'e not capable of learning. I remember you all took San Diego last year to start and you all picked the Yankees in the World Series. Get a clue and realize the Dodgers are the best team. They are gonna win. Period.
