Be pretty cool if they can grab another W from Toronta today
I keep seeing this hole in the lineup at LD…then I keep seeing how bad Buffalo continues to be and how disgruntled Dahlin has already been publicly. With the assets Detroit has right now that could be used in a trade, you gotta wonder what the demand from Buffalo would be to pry Dahlin outta there. I’d argue it would totally be worth trading them the 1st rounder for the McKenna draft and Chiarot/Gus…as a starting point.

How long have they done afternoon games on Canadian thanksgiving? I woke up today feeling kind of annoyed that there were all these afternoon games before I realized it’s the holiday. Kind of like football on American thanksgiving? Kind of a cool idea.
I have no actual expectations that this could ever happen but gd it would be the biggest impact trade for Detroit if they somehow just made it happen. And the more Buffalo is bad it’s just a matter of time before Dahlin himself forces a move, and if Detroit could be a team ready to give Buffalo at least a better return than most other teams could, and there’s 3 Swedes and Seider there already, I could see that being an enticing project for a player like Dahlin.
So glad I work from home on Mondays. Can’t wait to have the game on and “work”

So there’s a relatively new redwings focused youtube channel called Haskey highlights, and I do recommend checking out his stuff. Good mix of highlight and insight imo. But he just posted a whopping 60 minute “highlight” video of the Griffin’s game last night. Dawg that ain’t a highlight video that’s just the whole game, but you know I’m watching the whole damn thing

What an awful sports weekend for the state of Michigan. The only bright spot is that the Wings are maybe not as completely awful as they looked in game 1. Here’s hoping they keep that trend going
