This guy’s price goes up $100k with each loss

  1. He’s going to get 10 or 11 aav from Terry or someone else. Cap is going up a lot over the life of his next contract.

  2. He shouldn’t get more than 10, he’s not been anything special imo. I know he’s good on a team of bad, buts he’s a 2nd liner on most competitive teams.

  3. It goes *up* with each loss? Fuck no he is part of this tire fire too, he is playing himself out of money. Maybe if he wants $10mil/year he can get his ass netfront for once so our possessions last more than one shot.

  4. Great talent completely wasted by legit idiocy in management. I will root for him on his new team.

  5. I don’t know how you watch this team play and think “man, I should spend another $10M on this roster.”

  6. His price can go up to whatever. As he has shown time and time again he is incapable of being a leader on this team. He simply doesn’t care. A penny over 10m and any more than 6yrs is simply way too much. This team can lose just as well without him. I’m also curious to see if he turns on the fans when the boos and chants start like he did 2 years ago. I lost all respect for him after that.

  7. Why is everyone so concerned with keeping him?

The team sucks with him. He should be their number 1 trade piece to get some new blood here that isn’t ruined yet

  8. Paying him $10 mil+/year right now would be a complete desperation move and a massive mistake. Should be able to get a decent package for him at the deadline (hopefully Adams isn’t the one to make this move).

It’s unfortunate to be in this position this early in the year but I really think we need to shift focus towards the long game and moving non-core veteran assets is the first step.

  9. Doan is the new Tuch, and Tuch is the new ROR. We have Terry Pegula to thank, once again. It’s not bad luck, it’s poor ownership or the highest degree.

  10. 68 point average over the last three years and he’s an elite defensive forward. Only guy who seemed like he wanted to be here most nights over the past two years.

    Give him what he wants.

  11. Vegas and MTL general managers are salivating this hoping to fleece Adams in a trade… March will come fast.

  12. Not gonna lie tuch looks like shit in the first two games. He’s a second liner at best and is playing like he’s worth 5-6mil

  13. I would have a hard time paying Tuch over $10mil/yr, it’s just an age thing. He will be 30 by the time the deal kicks in and will want a 7-8 yr deal, just not worth it IMO,
