He shouldn’t get more than 10, he’s not been anything special imo. I know he’s good on a team of bad, buts he’s a 2nd liner on most competitive teams.

I don’t know how you watch this team play and think “man, I should spend another $10M on this roster.”
His price can go up to whatever. As he has shown time and time again he is incapable of being a leader on this team. He simply doesn’t care. A penny over 10m and any more than 6yrs is simply way too much. This team can lose just as well without him. I’m also curious to see if he turns on the fans when the boos and chants start like he did 2 years ago. I lost all respect for him after that.
Why is everyone so concerned with keeping him?
The team sucks with him. He should be their number 1 trade piece to get some new blood here that isn’t ruined yet
Paying him $10 mil+/year right now would be a complete desperation move and a massive mistake. Should be able to get a decent package for him at the deadline (hopefully Adams isn’t the one to make this move).
It’s unfortunate to be in this position this early in the year but I really think we need to shift focus towards the long game and moving non-core veteran assets is the first step.
Trade him too, it’s not like he plays like he wants to be here.

I would have a hard time paying Tuch over $10mil/yr, it’s just an age thing. He will be 30 by the time the deal kicks in and will want a 7-8 yr deal, just not worth it IMO,
