  1. Personally I LOVE that the Lakers didn't play the big guns in this one v GSW. I'd rather they didn't get any hint of the gameplay on opening night. Assuming there IS a new gameplan lol

  2. The perfect player w low risk high reward is available still … he provides perimeter and transition defense and is a elite playmaker and can guard 1 – 5 (sign Ben Simmons)

  3. The problem I see with the Lakers is the size/strength issue. There needs to be someone with size who can score. This will be a determination of wins or losses as their opponents will pick away if the Lakers don't hit all their outside shots. Guards are going to be relied on more for rebounds, fast breaks inside outside game as Laker forwards just aren't that effective. If Vando can dominate a game, great, but it probably won't happen. We need forwards who can dominate at least some of the time. Rui is the same problem. Thiero may be a difference maker at forward if we ever get to see him.

  4. Good LAke 🟣🟡 Show Win!!!
    • AR is a Buc(k)et
    • Ayton is a High Level 2-Way Role Player
    • Rui/Gabe/Vando/Jake are Solid 2-Wayish Role Players
    • Smith Jr. has tons of Potential

  5. AR is and has Always been a Buc(k)et who Averages 20/5/5 and could Average 25/5/5 on a Non-Playoff Team as the 2nd Option.

The Question is, does He Fit with Luka well enough for US to Pay Him $35 Million a Year???

  6. these guys aren't playing they think they're to good to play… this team with out luka and lebron is basically a 500 team…i picked the warriors to win this game i was wrong…i come from north hollywood i been a lakers fan since 1987…iv'e never seen a team just not play like this…could be a long year…my super star of the night of course A.R. he is now a top 10 shooting guard in this league

  7. A lot of praise is being given to Austin. No one is questioning the player he is in the regular season. It's the PLAYOFFS when physicality rises and refs let off the whistle that he struggles. Lakers will be a fun regular season team but i have questions about the playoffs

  8. Everyone saying it’s ok that they’re not playing guys has no common sense. All year last year we heard they have no chemistry they’ll have a preseason and camp to build chemistry and we haven’t seen the team. Then it will become an excuse. And I can’t stand Trevor. Like seriously. Lakers don’t have a backup. I’m not counting Hayes as a big. He’s an unskilled power forward. They NEED a backup up big that’s 250 POUNDS PLUS. Lakers need better perimeter players too. Vanderbilt HAS TO GO. ABSOLUTE FUCKING TRASH. They need someone like Royce O’Neal. You need guys who are always threats to score. Vando isn’t that. Knecht has to go. Makes no sense to have laravia and knecht. I like Gabe because he can play point guard. Lakers never used him like that. I thought it would be common sense. But lakers don’t have that so they used him like ray allen last year. But I think he needs to go. And I’m not sure about kleber. But lakers always gamer project players. They never get guys that are proven in this league and you know will get production from. It’s always guys that “can” become better or has “potential”. That’s why I have no hope for this team. Every time they get a proven player they let them go and say “your good, nope see you later” but hey let’s keep Vando who is the worst offensive player in nba history and say “let him develop”. If you can’t make layups then you’ll never be good at them. Long rant but this team is going nowhere

  9. Ok ima keep it real. As a long time Laker Fan. Im starting to get annoyed with my fellow Laker Fans. ITS AN 82 GAME SEASON. We made the 3rd seed with an out of shape Luka that played less than half the season with us. The new players aren't comfortable yet also…Please shut up & be patient

  10. Vando better as a “6th man” or energy guy off the bench when the lakers need to change the vibe of a game. Not a starter unfortunately in my opinion. Just a few games. I know. But that’s what his role seems to be from my opinion.

  11. Trevor, thank you for emphasizing the transition defense. This is concerning especially seeing how Minnesota handled LA a few months ago in the playoffs. It looks insignificant to some but it can lose you crucial games

  12. Just a preseason game but even with that, the Lakers finally showed some depth with a little more synchronized cohesion. The depth went ankle deep in the first two games. This one went waste deep.

  13. For everyone saying the preseason chemistry doesn't matter, plz don't blame a lack of cohesiveness with the group if Lakers are a dud this season.

  14. I’m watching teams give up 120 a night, seeing them called contenders and great defenders by the national media, but the shorthanded Lakers defense is a huge problem? I think we should pump the brakes, the Jazz just dropped 127 on Houston, Hornets 120 on the Mavs

  15. Put some respect on Rui all you couch potatoes 🥔 💩 had the nerve to say trade this dude like he hasn’t been consistent in the playoffs the past 2 seasons. What he did vs the warriors in this preseason game he do it all season (unless a bad shooting night) he’s better than reaves.
