I think that would be fair for both sides. Blues fans should prepare for Holloway and Broberg to be the highest paid players on their next contracts.
I completely expect Broberg to sign an 8×8 or 8×7. I expect Holloway will have similar pay but am wondering if the team will want to a shorter term to first see if the injury from last year will rear its head again.
I love Broberg, but if we pay him that much. We are overpaying. Holloway is earning a bigger contract than Broberg in my opinion.
Didn’t Hughes in NJ sign for 9 mil a year? Is he better than Broberg? I don’t watch The Devils much.
I sure hope not. Love Broberg but he is not worth Hutson, or as someone previously mentioned, Hughes money. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a bridge deal from either Holloway, Broberg, or both.
