The Carolina Panthers TROLL Stephen A. after Week 6 win over the Dallas Cowboys 🤣 | First Take

Back here on first eight, the Ravens having a tough time keeping the ship afloat with Lamar Jackson sideline. Baltimore dropped to 1 and5 after losing to the Rams 17-3 on Sunday. That’s four straight losses for the Ravens. Their worst sixgame start in franchise history and now they head into a buy. John Harbaugh said postgame that he expects Lamar back for the team’s next home game on October 26. And the Ravens currently have a 25% chance to make the playoffs according to ESPN analytics. However, of the 358 teams to start the season 1 and five or worse, only four of those teams made the playoffs since 1933. Cam Newton, I got to start with you first because I know that you are a crazy ex with this Baltimore team. Do you still see them making the playoffs? Yes. Yes. And it sound crazy, but understand the reason why. Their margin of error has now shrunk smaller than an ant’s pinky fingers. But needless to say, we have an opportunity still. Not because I love the Baltimore Ravens, it’s because I love Lamar Jackson. Especially if Lamar Jackson is healthy. The next five games by the Baltimore Ravens. Who do we have here? Ryan Clark. Chicago Bears. Who do we have here? Amina, Miami Dolphins. Who do we have here? Stephen Anthony, Minnesota Vikings. Hey, let’s bring back uh Ryan Terry. Uh put it in reverse, Terry. We got Cleveland Browns. And we got New York Jets. Those five games right there. If you could you could find a way to get five and five again. Oh my goodness. Not only do the Baltimore Ravens can can change the ship, they still have an opportunity. They do still have an opportunity, but that’s not the reason. The reason is because of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Talk to me. That’s the reason that they still have an opportunity. The Pittsburgh Steelers last year lost their last five games. Last four games of the regular season and the playoff game to Baltimore. The year before that, they finished 500 over their last six games to end the regular season. Baltimore would not have a chance if we could rely and count on the Steelers from week 11 to week 17 to close the deal. That is what is going to determine what’s going to happen in the What do you think will happen? Double Dutch Stephen A. Double Dutch Steven. Let me let me let me look at this right now. Tell me what will happen. Over the last six weeks, seven weeks of this NFL season, the Pittsburgh Steelers play at Chicago Buffalo, at Baltimore, Miami, at Detroit, Cleveland, at the Baltimore Ravens. I will pick the Pittsburgh Steelers to win the AFC North. Oo, they better not make me out to be a liar. Slow clap from pick the Steelers to win the AFC North. But Cam is not wrong because history shows us over the last two to three years that the Steelers struggle to close. They got to close. I’m kind of emotional. You know what? I just feel like it’s been I feel like we just been so long and like our relationship with the Steelers, man. It’s been tough, you know, and like we we start out good and then like at the end we don’t be doing good and then like you be being mean to us on TV and I be like, “Why is Stephen they hating?” Then you be like, “No, they suck and I feel better now.” Gosh, I’m so emotional. Exactly. That’s right. That’s right. Try to get it out. Try to get it out. Try to get out. You know what though? You know what the biggest problem with what Cam is saying about the Baltimore Ravens is that it has to be mathematically correct. When is the last time we’ve been talking about Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens and thinking about the mathematics toward the end of the season? Oh, they can beat the Bears, the Dolphins, the Vikings, the Browns, the Jets, the Bengals twice. And then you’re going to say, okay, maybe they can split with the Packers and the Steelers and the Patriots at the end of the season and so they can kind of sneak into the playoffs because the numbers matter. This was a team that was supposed to have the best roster in football. This is a team that has one of the best players in all of the game in Lamar Jackson who can go down as an all-time great and all he got to do is get a ring. And we’re talking about them in this same season. Can they mathematically make it to the playoffs? That’s not the team that we started the season believing in. And so to me, this is already a failure. And they can make it to the playoffs, but they will not make any noise and they will be home as much as we talk about the Steelers being home in week one. May I do throw a left turn? Sure. Can I go into the break reading this book? May I do that? May I do that for you? May I May I read this book? How did How do you do the Cowboys losing a heartbreak in Carolina? Picked up a huge 30 to 27 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. Panthers running back Rico Dabble got his revenge against his old team, finishing with the Panthers single game record, 239 scrimmage yards. After the game, Panthers social media having some fun at the expense of Stephen A. Should the Cowboys be on upset alert? I don’t think so. McMillan his first NFL touchdown. I saw Carolina go come come back against Miami last week, but that that that’s Miami. Wide open man is down and he’s going to take it to the end zone against his former team. If that’s the Dallas Cowboys, they putting up 40. Both offenses are just shy of 30. I just don’t think that defense is going to be able to stop Dallas’s offense. Wobbly throw grab by Williams and he gets swung down by Wallace for another loss. [Laughter] The receipts. That was so good. The receipts. The receipts were long. Wow. They were love. Congrats to the Panthers social media team. And congrats to you. You are such a star. They made a whole post about you after their biggest win of the season. How do you feel about that? First of all, let me tell these sorry ass Carolina Panthers something right now. And y’all sorry wait for it. Wait for it. Wait for it. Wait for it. Wait for it. Wait for it. Let me tell them something right now. You understand what I’m saying? First of all, I’ll concede that was a beautiful ass video they put together. You know what? Beautiful ass video they put together right there. That that that’s number one. Okay, that’s number one. And number two, I apologize with a smile on my face. Thank you. You think I can? I mean, they are absolutely right. They should have trolled me my dumb ass self. What was I thinking? But depending on the cowboy, how how could I do such a thing? Even to the Carolina Panthers who have been a model of ineptitude the last few years. And it’s nice to see y’all relevant again. You got a 500 record for the first time since I had an afro. I mean, congratulations. Congratulations. But let me tell you, sir, right now, they deserve it. I like the job their coach is doing. I like how Bryce Young is looking. Okay. And Rico D. I didn’t know EMTT Smith was gonna show up in a Carolina Panther uniform. So, I was I was calling them sorry, but I was mean. I’m only I’m only having fun with y’all, man. I’m only playing. Congrats to the Carolina Panthers. Congrats to their social media team. That’s exactly what you should have done. I deserved it. You understand? They are accurate. 1,000% on point getting on me. A matter of fact, to my producers, give me a copy of that damn video. I’mma play it everywhere today because they got me. I deserve it. How dare me. How dare me sit up there and pick the Cowboys and sit up there and say that was Miami. I don’t have faith. Cowboys going to drop 40. I mean, leave it to the Cowboys to disappoint me, you know, to to make me out to be a liar. But I ain’t mad. I ain’t mad at all. It doesn’t bother me one bit. this early in the season. I thought you wanted it later. I know that. But what I’m just saying is when Carolina come beat you, when they go to the Bible belt and lose, you when the Cowboys go to the Bible belt, it just shows you. You know what I’m saying? When Michael Irving, when Michael Irvin look like he coming out of his own damn skin. Talk about why I’ve never seen a defense where everybody open. Everybody open. That’s what Michael Irvin said. That’s what happened to the Dallas Cowboys. But the story to me is Rico Dattle. He talked before the game, told them what he was going to do, warned them to buckle up, and then Dak Prescott, the quarterback for the Cowboys, said, “Yo, he told us to buckle up and and evidently we did it. It is what it is.” Great video on y’all. I’m just messing with y’all. Y’all were right to get at me, Carolina. You did the right thing. Is 1,000% correct. They got me, y’all. Cam, I want you to jump in. Go ahead here. uh one on the Panthers, but also how big of a loss is this for Dallas, too? I’mma get to I’mma get to Dallas, but what I seen yesterday in Carolina was something that we need more of. And it takes bold activity. Rico Donald told people to buckle up and had everybody paying attention like, “What? What you mean buckle up?” And when you start to see from the first play to the last play, he was running emphatically. He was running angry. He was running ticked off. He was running like his name was Rico. But Suave, you dig what I’m saying? My boy was over there making big boy plays and it was something that was commendable and something that we have not seen in Carolina in a long time. When you have double trouble with D’Angelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart, Christian McCaffrey, Jonathan Stewart, myself included, those type of games is what got Carolina the the phrase or coined the phrase keep pounding. Bryce Young, you played a very clean game, obviously throwing one interception, but at the same time, we need to build off of this game. Okay, enough said. Now with Dallas, uh Jerry Jones had this statement to say, “We have to stop the run in the uh the departure of Michael Parsons.” Jerry, what in the hell was that? When I’m looking at the stat line, Carolina Patterns had 216 yards and Dallas Cowboys had 31 yards rushing. That ain’t it. Now, the optimism of that is George Pickkins is becoming a star. Yes, sir. And it’s only right to say, what is that gonna look like with CD Lamb and George Pickkins? I mean, what are we talking about here? When you look at the overall total yards, Carolina Panthers have produced 410 yards to Dallas Cowboys 292 yards. The inability to run the football and the unwillingness to stop the run is the reason why the Dallas Cowboys suffered their loss. One team had dogs and another team didn’t. Had puppies. Yeah. When when Rico Do tells you, “Buckle up.” You know what that’s like? That’s 12:00. Y’all been at recess. Y’all was playing football. Somebody got tackled too hard. And dude was like, “Hey, bro. When we get off this bus, it’s me and you.” And when Rico do walked into the stadium, he was playing that knuck if you buck. He was like, “We kne and bucking and ready to fight.” They didn’t have the right music on, right? And the way that they approached the game was physicality. You remember, you remember what Jerry said. Cam just talked about what Jerry said. We got to stop the run. You ain’t stopped it yet. Rico Doto still running and they’re gonna live off of that Green Bay Packer game because they found a way to get a tie, to get a draw in what was the Super Bowl for the Dallas Cowboys. All the Dallas Cowboys wanted to do that night, let’s block Michael Parsons, not let him ruin the game. Let’s not let Michael Parsons walk off this field with a win. Well, what about the rest of the season? What about the rest of the season when you’re asking people that you brought in or asking the person that you brought in for him him to make plays to stop the run to be a more physical team to put pressure on the quarterback? Every quarterback looks good against the Dallas Cowboys because every quarterback has time has time. Wouldn’t it be cool if you had a pass rusher that can get after the passer? They ain’t got one cuz they traded him. And so when you think about the Carolina Panthers, this is a team that wants to win. This is the team that played to win. a quarterback that played like he had something to prove and a running back that knew he didn’t he wasn’t hoping or thinking. He knew the Cowboys were soft on defense cuz you don’t say that unless you know that and then he proved it. And here’s the thing, too. When you bring up Jerry Jones, by the way, today’s his 83rd birthday. Happy birthday to him. You know, you bring him up, okay, and him trading Micah Parsons. You turned 83 today. Your your best days you’ve admitted are behind you. Your mortality is staring you at the door and you compromise yourself by making the move that he made. You understand what I’m saying? The defense ain’t stronger. You saying you don’t have somebody to get to the passer. You can’t stop the run. That not that Michael Parson has really helped you stop the run because we know that wasn’t his strength. But I’m just saying those are problematic. Rico Dattle final drive 22 yards rushing. Final drive for Bryce Young. What did he do on the final drive? Okay, you’re looking at a guy three or four for 25 yards. Converted a fourth and four to Hunter Renfro. We saw all of that, right? We saw him for the game. Final drive, 71 yards, 15 plays. That’s Bryce Young that took him down that field. Okay. Along with Rico Dattle for the game, completed 68% of his passes, three touchdowns, just one interception, and a 115 passer rating. This was a tip two. This is Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers that is doing that to this Dallas Cowboys defense. And so, I look at it from that standpoint and I say it’s a bad loss, but it’s also Carolina’s on the come up. They’re looking considerably better than they did last year and we got to give credit where credit is due in that regard. Absolutely. Cam, go ahead. Last word. This is one of the things that needs to be mentioned about Jerry Jacobe Jones. Yeah, Jerry Jacobe. That’s my guy. Uh I like him. Uh you don’t want to miss this wave. Dak Prescott, Dak Quavius is playing the absolute best, cleanest football he has ever played. And you do not want to look back and said we should have struck when the iron was hot. There’s times when you need to be desperate. If I’m Jerry Jones, I’m extremely desperate to find help on defense and find help on defense fast because right now you have what we’ve seen Dak to do to give every single opportunity to giving the team the best situation to win and that’s what he’s doing. You don’t want to take that for granted because it doesn’t come too often for NFL teams. George Pickkins, nine passes, 168 yards, a TD catch for the fifth consecutive game in a contract year. Who’s his representative? David Mulligetta, the same guy that Jerry didn’t want to talk to when it came to Micah Parsons. That’s number one. Number two, Dak Prescott to piggy back off of camp. Completed 74% of his passes yesterday. 261 yards, three touchdowns, no turnovers, no sacks, and a 90 QBR on this season. Second in passing yards to Matthew Stafford, second to Jared G with 13 touchdown passes, fourth in completion percentage at 71.6, second to Daniel Jones in QBR, and tied for second behind Baker Mayfield’s fourth quarter, fourth quarter comebacks with two. Dak Prescott is playing like an MVP candidate. He ain’t Baker Mayfield at number one right now, but he’s in the conversation. Pickings is balling. The offense has not been shabby at all. This issue with the Dallas Cowboys is about a defense nobody is worried about. And Jerry was hoping and Jerry was hoping that Dak Prescott and the offense was going to be so prolific that he’d win games scoring 30 plus and that would offset what they aren’t defensively. But what they aren’t defensively is why they’re a team under 500 right now, which means that the cynicism is ultimately going to come right back in Jerry Jones direction. And as his Libra buddy, you understand? I’ve tried to tell him this on several occasions. You have admitted that your mortality is staring you at the door. I don’t bring that up. You do. You got to value these moments. And as Cam said, go all in. He should have kept Micah. Yep. You understand what I’m saying? Still have You still had Pickkins and CD Lamb. All right. You should have kept Rico Dattle for the extra $3 million because he went to Carolina on one year $6 million. You got Javvante Williams with one year $3 million. He’s not a scrub. He can ball. But the bottom line is dattle is dattle. And one year at six million, just $3 million is why you lost yesterday to a brother that dropped those numbers on you after telling you to buckle up. This is not a good birthday to Jerry Jones. But happy birthday anyway. 239 yards from scrimmage. You’re right. He did look like Emtt Smith out there. Yes, he did. Damn right. Just like Em like a smaller version of he looked just like him. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Applause] [Music]

  1. Ravens it is over they will miss the playoffs and the greatest rivals ever team and Steelers will win the AFC North division championship it will happen and the greatest tv show ever and movies and music and videos Games and videos of all of us and we will be a Hall of Famers very soon in history as a family legacy in history as a team well done 💯

  2. If Jerry had got some good draft picks for Parsons, he could say that the trade would benefit the Cowboys in the future. Considering that the Cowboys draft pretty well, that could have been a true statement.
However, Jerry practically gave Parsons to the Packers. They got 1 first round pick next draft and 1 pick for the following draft. Those picks are not going to be very high either.

  3. Stephen A is a Narcissist of course he loves this.. he wants to b the main storyline. It’s sad.. ESPN needs to give this show to Cam. He’s unbiased and holds everyone accountable. He doesn’t disrespect he coworkers and what they wear (D.O.) he doesn’t fat shame (Big Perk) he speaks facts and he keeps his opinions between the lines and evaluates the player in the game not the man off the field

  4. Cam Newton must be on cloud nine seeing his Panthers beat the Cowgirls. If the Carolina Panthers finish the season 8-9, that's gonna be a huge improvement.
