Teddy Randy Moss has been asking where’s J Mo. There’s J Mo. One of the fastest in the league. You hit him on these crosses. Oh, takes that speed. Touchdown Detroit. Jam J Mo. 22 yd score. Lions a 10-6 lead. But now back come the Chiefs. old reliable in the scoring area. Travis Kelce down to the one and that will lead to this. Patrick Mahomes going to keep it himself and Teddy watch the end of the play. Earl off size is sort of a precursor of what happened after the game. Looking at Brian Branch a little flex, little look maybe little trash talk. Remember that as we continue now third quarter, Chiefs looking to score again. That’s Hollywood Brown using his speed. Chiefs take a 20-10 lead. Back comes Detroit. That offense, Rex needs to be perfect. Here’s the man they call Knuckles, David. Knuckles gets way down there to about the sevenyd line here. Nice play by the Lions. And then early fourth quarter, same drive. We switch sides. Second and goal. How about this catch from Sora? I mean, ridiculous one-handed catch. Gets both feet in bounds. Absolutely incredible catch here. My fantasy team tight end, too. A fantasy team tight end. Let’s go to Florida. Kansas City’s lead is three. Now we’re early fourth quarter. Second and four. Xavier Worthy Rex. Two words. Speed kills. It does. Greeny. And that’s what I I will say this. How about that linebacker tracking him down? Impressive. A few plays later though. Chiefs on a third and goal. It’s Momes again. It’s Brown again. His second of the night. Brown and Kansas City fired up. They go on to win it 30 to 17. But the action was just getting started. Here we go after the game. Brian Branch not looking to dap up. Patrick Mahomes. Okay, we live with that. Not the end of the world. Patrick moves on now. Juju Smith Schustster standing. Oh, Dwood. What do we see here? Nah, bro. Like, bro, you had three three hours to scrap and fight. You can’t do that in the post game. You just can’t do that. Especially not during a televised, nationally televised game. It doesn’t matter what happened during the game. Any type of illegal blocks you may think, the trash talking, the game’s over, it it’s about sportsmanship after the game. Chiefs win it 30-7. The talk afterwards was all about the post game. I love Brian Branch, but what he did is inexcusable and uh it’s not going to be accepted here. It’s not what we do. It’s not what we’re about. Should have never did it. It was charged. I got blocked in the back illegally and it was running the ref. The ref didn’t do anything. Uh and just stuff like that. And that’s I could have got hurt off of that, but it still I still shouldn’t have done that. a great player knows that he was in the wrong in that scenario. Adam Shfter with us as he is every Monday morning. The league will be looking at that one. We have to assume league already is looking at it and they said that determinations on discipline will be made. You remember during the spring the league made a point of emphasis talking about sportsmanship that would not seem to be the right sportsmanship that the league is looking for. So, there’ll be at the very least significant fines and very possibly a suspension. As Teddy brought up, Jaylen Carter was thrown out of the game for spitting in week one. The league deemed that to be his suspension. The league can look at that and say, “This is worthy of a one-ame suspension.” And we’ll find that out here over the next 24 hours. Rex, we were talking before the show. I mean, frustration is what it is. The Lions may have felt a few things didn’t go their way last night. A few breaks didn’t go their way last night. doesn’t excuse what happens, I assume, after the game. No, absolutely doesn’t excuse it. And and quite honestly, this kid was playing injured as well. So, it gets a little chippy and I get it. I I hope he’s not suspended. Why? Cuz I’m a Lion fan and I love this kid. He’s got great heart, passion, but he’s dead. He’s absolutely wrong in in this spot. But but look, I’ve been there on on the sideline. Sometimes you feel the Kansas City Chiefs got zero penalties. Zero penalties. All right. So I get there’s a little of that frustration building. It’s building and quite honestly I’ve been there and that to sit back and say you know these emotions no it’s a carryover of a lot of things but it’s dead stuff wrong and you you know that you know certain teams bring out these emotions in other teams and it’s the Chiefs people feel the Chiefs I mean players also feel the Chiefs you know they get unfair that’s just that’s just the way it is. I mean, if this wasn’t the Chiefs, I don’t know if Brian Branch has these. That’s the way it used to be for the Patriots. Absolutely. 100%. I’ve I’ve freaking lived it. And people, they just don’t know and and they focus start focusing on other things in terms of why they lost. When it start when it starts going bad, you feel it. Trust me, I’d feel it on the sideline when we were playing the Patriots sometimes be looking like, “Oh, now you’re going to throw a flag.” Cuz at when the game’s on the line, they never threw a dang flag. Like sometimes you literally feel it. And look, it’s not. Okay, it’s not. But it sure looks like if you look at it statistically, numbers wise, I think last Monday when they had 13 penalties against Jacksonville, it’s amazing how quick they corrected that to zero penalties. And this one, there you go. I mean, you feel it. That’s the talk that I’m talking about. But let me say this. The worst look that is right there is Guju putting his hand out and then a fist to the face. That’s I mean, an open palm to the face. That’s that’s the worst look. See, Guju, he’s putting his hand out to shake hands. Now, I don’t know what he’s saying. All right. I don’t know what he’s saying, but still the look of here’s my hand. Shake it. Well done. Good fight. And I hit you in the face. I I want to get to the game. So, final word on this, Dwood. Just I mean, you you’ve played 8 million games in your life. This is the kind of thing that does not happen often. Clearly, there will be a reaction from the league. A quick thought, Dwood. Yeah, listen. We all know football is a highly emotional game, right? But you don’t ever want to put your sit uh you know, put you put yourself in a situation where you could be possibly missing games. That’s the thing that to take away from that. Like that was a selfish move on his part. You had three hours. You had three hours to deal with all of that. Once you get past the once once the final, you know, whistle is blown. Hey man, it’s time to move on. We got to get ready for the next game. And and the Lions have a tough schedule coming up. So, we’re going to get to them in a minute. But let’s start with the Chiefs. They’re three and three and Rasheed Rice’s suspension is over. So, if I were to say the Kansas City Chiefs are back, what would you say in return? Where’ they go? I I don’t know. They’re back from what? I mean, this is a team that doesn’t get too high with any victory. It doesn’t get too low with any loss. They just know they play the long game. All right? They know it’s a 17game season now. And three and three isn’t important. Two and three isn’t important. I mean, one and two, whatever it was, they worry about winning a game. And then they this this I I have to think this is a big win for them to get them back on track because this is a very good football team that they beat like this. But still a lot of times it’s like that’s just business. That’s just what we do. And I just think that they never disappeared. Greeny, this team is going to be there in the end. So this is the most impressive game by far this season because of who they played and how they did it. Styles like they were physical. They out physical the bully. So I think it was outstanding here and and to me look where’d they go? I don’t know. Three. They they look pretty average to me. They’re three and three. This is not the Kansas City Chiefs of of a few years ago in my opinion, but you were saying that all of last year. Are they as good as they were a year ago? And they were they I think they are better. And the reason they’re going to be better is because they’re going to have a healthy Rasheed Rice give you actually a legitimate weapon. And I think that is huge. And the other thing that’s huge to me is they actually have depth at offensive tackle. So they they had the rookie that was playing well. the kid played uh the the big $30 million contract guy that played last year, Jaylen Moore. Jaylen Moore at left tackle. So now they’re better. They’re better in the offensive line than they’ve been and they have a legitimate number one receiver and Patrick Mahomes finally has weapons. So I think they’re better that way. I don’t think they’re as good defensively, but again, we’re going to see. No, I’m just listen at the we like we were having our discussion in the in the production meeting. Who’s the team? So you talking about in the in the AFC like you’re they’re sitting here three and three. Who’s the team? There’s no one running away. Indianapolis Colts right now are five and one. They’re five and one. Okay. It’s it’s right now in October. Well, October October 14th. Too early. The the point is the Chiefs. Let me put up A14. The Chiefs have recorded two 30point games in their last three outings, which already matches all of the 30point games that they had all of last season. Now, that was buried last year because they went 15 and two, but the reality is they were scraping by. They’ve scored 30 points in these games. And I will underline this. Rasheed Rice may or may not be one of the three best receivers in the NFL, but he puts everybody back into the place they should be on this team, right? They’ve got him then they that that enables them to use everyone else the way they should. No, but he’s a top 10 receiver in the My point is a top receiver. He’s coming back today. The team is playing better. The defense has gotten a little bit better as it’s gone along. the offense has gotten better and I know you don’t want to compare him to anybody else in the conference today, but is there a team in the conference that you say Kansas City wouldn’t fare well against in the offseason? It’s not Baltimore right now. Is it Buffalo? Buffalo is Kansas City as we speak is a one-point favorite in that game. The Chiefs are actually favored to win all of their remaining games. That’s the question on the screen. Right now, Dwood, the the Chiefs have been in five of the last six Super Bowls. Right now, does the road in the AFC go through Kansas City? Yes, until someone knocks off the King. Yes, the road goes through goes through Arrowhead. You know, that’s what it is. Like, we can sit here and debate about talk about the the Indianapolis Colts. Yeah, they’re playing well. Danny, you know, Indiana Jones is is doing all those type of things, but at the end of the day, all these teams in the AFC know at some point we’re going to have to see the Kansas City Chiefs. We’re going to have to see them the Giant. Yeah, you have to. I will not I will not discount the Buffalo Bills. I think they’ll they’ll be up there. But the combination of what Kansas City showed last night, even without Rashi Rice, the catch and run that we showed, the worthy speed, the power of Kareem Hunt running over Rocky, I think it was. I mean, it was just they had a combination of power and just scheme. There was a bust. I mean, they they motioned to quad. All right. Hollywood Brown all the way across and they bust because they knew they’d be in man. It’s scheme. It’s power. It’s coaching. This is a great football team. They’ve been there and and and done it. That’s, you know, certainly it. I think injuries play such a huge role. We got so we got 11 more games left. Look, I thought the Chargers were going to replace them this year, but both their tackles went out in the strength of their team and their running backs. Like, so it’s a long season ahead, but to me, I think this team is so much better offensively than they were last year. And and so, yeah, unfortunately, I think we’re going to see him again.
