[McDonald] DB on facing the Jets

  1. We were 0-6 just 2 years ago and hosted a hot team in the Texans and won at home. This game is no freebie and I honestly wished that the Jets won last week

  2. It’s something that I say about sports, “anyone can beat anyone on any given day.” You can’t just expect the other team to roll over and die, you have to go in and play your heart out and fight for the win.

  3. The right mentality for sure. And if they act like they’re getting cocky, just show them that they’re underdogs against the Jets according to Vegas. That’ll lock them right back in.

  4. Yeah the away game aspect has worried me a lot. Ultimately Bryce has 1 away win in his career. I know it’s just a stat, but for me to believe we’re going to reach 4-3 and win an away game, I’ll need to see it, regardless of who we’re playing.

  5. This is kind of a huge game for us as well. Besides desperately needing to learn how to win on the road, we could potentially have our first +.500 record in several years. There’ll no doubt be some adversity to come later this year with our schedule, but we need to get this huge morale victory while it’s right in front of us.

  6. My concern is with the Jets defense, who stepped up tremendously against Denver yesterday. Our defense should be able to bottle up Breece and Fields, but we cannot be complacent on offense specifically.
